    A judge ruled that the two children of Alaina Giordano, a mother who is battling stage 4 breast cancer amid a bitter custody dispute, should live with their father 600 miles away. Do you agree?

    She needs to spend time with her children. By having the kids removed makes it worse for her recover and affects her children.

    The judge's ruling was outrageous. Perhaps The TODAY SHOW can help her with getting an attorney to assist her in filing an appeal. jdb

      Since when is an illness the basis for losing custody of your children!? Her "estranged" husband is morally bankrupt, as is the judge.

      How cruel are people? As long as she can care for her children, she should have them in her custody. You can be stage 4 cancer for years.

        My opinion changed when revealed she had no job and was unwilling to move. Exactly how would the kids be provided for?

        She should be able to keep her kids. Any of us can die at any time. She seems to be a great mom and the kids want to stay with her!!!

        My mom had stage 3 breast cancer and was able to take care of myself, herself and my dad. We all took care of one another.

        Custody isn't about what is fair to the parent; it is what is in the best interest of the child. share custody-primary dad

        being a mother is a job and I do believe the ruling violated this Federal Law.

        Those children need to be with their mother. They need her & she needs them. They will feel resentment towards their father later for this

        But..in best interest of kids,shared arrangements/backup plan 2 help kids transition, should she become unable to care for them.

          She's not on her deathbed yet. They are probably going to lose her (stage 4!) & need to have all the time together that they can.
