    Many women believe that they do the lion's share of work around the house. But a new study reveals surprising statistics that show that working wives and husbands actually have similar workloads nowadays. How about in your house? Is your guy pulling his weight?

    people have to choose to see the need in the relationship & act upon that. Talking in a calm tone/a relaxed setting wont gurantee assistanc

    No. My husband and I share the household duties pretty evenly.

    A home is a place of rest and sanctuary for men. Women take everything to seriously in the home. They really need to get over themselves.

      We share alot, but why do I have to make sure to praise him when I rarely get praise for what I should be doing in the first place.

      This merely shows the expectation of women to be All-Responsible. Doing it all herself, or training her husband-she's still responsible.

      I'm 12 years older than my husband. He's very much in the 'do' mode, so I let him. He seems to like going to the grocery store, pharmacy,

      Unfortunately, because my husband is a paraplegic, all but paying the bills is left to me to handle. It can be very overwhelming at times.

        I try to get my husband involved, but he's never helped around the house. Even his mother admits she wasn't forceful about it growing up.

          Yes, I did it all. That's why I'm no longer married. No expectations results in no anger or resentment. Life is good!!!

            I plan most everything but I always ask for his opinion before making final decisions on important issues.

              USA TODAY's Sharon Jayson reports that there is a movement towards parity in households in America when it comes to sharing the workload. But does moving toward equality mean you have to give up too much decision making power? Would you rather do the chores yourself in order to keep control?

                  No I believe in splitting the responsibilities. However, if you were to ask my husband he would say I have most of the control.
