• Should marijuana be legalized?

    In California, a pro-marijuana group has been launching ads in a bid to get the drug legalized, saying that revenue from taxing it can alleviate the state's massive budget deficit. Would decriminalizing marijuana solve the problem or just cause more? Would it create more drug addicts and public health concerns or just let recreational users indulge out in the open? Share your thoughts!

    I believe marijuana should be decriminalized completely and have it regulated like alcohol. Look at Alaska's laws.

    No. Marijuana should not be legalized. Smoking marijuana effects the way you judge speed and distance.

    pot will always be used legal or not. i have never heard of any 1 dying from pot, better than taking Xanax, etc too many overdoses now!!!!!

    It is a fact that marijuana is safer than Alcohol and Cigarettes. Simple as that.

    People who smoke this are laid back and relaxed. I've never heard of smoking and killing or any abuse towards anyone when smoked. Legalize!

    Regulated and taxed, I think marijuana is safer than alcohol. It will also cut out the criminal element that now controls the distribution

      This is CA largest cash crop. Why not capitolize off of it?! Also, as a Californian, this substance is THE most socially acceptable...

      Many people would speak out in favor of legalization, but fear being penalized or labeled as terrorist. This makes since on many levels.

        Im Disabled with painfull nirve damage.I use marijuana in a state witch it is not legal.I live with the stress of knowing I may be jailed.

        recent studies shown that it has a anti-cancer causing agent which counters the carnocigens & with vaporizor tecqnology there is no smoke
