• How difficult would it be to go without sex for a year?

    In her new book "Chastened: The Unexpected Story of My Year Without Sex," journalist Hephzibah Anderson describes her conscious decision to live without sex for 12 months. How challenging or easy does that sound to you?

    She sounds like a slut in rehab. You can get as deep as you want, millions are going without sex and functioning normally.

    It sounds tough, but not that tough. Who doesn't have dry spells from time to time?

    just finished a year deployment to Afghanistan; it really wasn't an issue for me though I am glad to be home

    It depends. It all hinges on where I'm at in life and the temptations I'd be facing.

    But as long as my husband and I are together, it would be a little difficult.

      some people go their whole lives without sex. It's not my preference, but it is a myth that you'll die without it.

      It depends. It all hinges on where I'm at in life and the temptations I'd be facing.

      I did it but only with the help of my Lord Jesus Christ. He gave me the self control I need to succeed. Way to go sweet Jesus!

        So, she didn't have intercourse but said on The Colbert Report she would go as far as third base. Not exactly "chaste" in my book.

          We can learn alot from abstenance. It is easier to see people for who they are without sex. Get to know yourself first. Wisdom is better.

            I believe that humans was created with self control so yes u can live without sex if u choose to. it's not that difficult.
