• Should man who slept with wife when she was underage be labeled a sex offender?

    Frank Rodriguez slept with his high school sweetheart and future wife Nikki Prescott 15 years ago, when he was 19 and she was just shy of 16. Today they are married and have four children, but Rodriguez is on the public sex-offender registry along with predators, pedophiles and pornographers. Do you think it's fair?

    NO! If he can't get off, then there should be details about the case as to WHY he is on the list (which should apply everyone on the list!)

    Teen today 12 up are having sex with students that are 17-18 up are they all Sex offenders as well. Drop all charges on Rodriguez.

    My husband was 18 and I was 16 when we started dating. We've been married 34 years. By some standards he would be considered an offender.

    If this is the case then half the country would be considered sex offenders. He should not be on the same list as rapists and molesters.

    it happened to my 15-yr-old sister-in-law w/ a 25yr old. child services closed the case didn't do anything about it.

    There should be a degree of conviction that allows you to revisit and have it looked at again within a certain time period ( 5 years)

    just finished a year deployment to Afghanistan; it really wasn't an issue for me though I am glad to be home

          We can learn alot from abstenance. It is easier to see people for who they are without sex. Get to know yourself first. Wisdom is better.
