Internships are an excellent way to pick up new skills and hone old ones, especially in a quickly updating modern society. I would take one

No. My skills are valuable and I deserve to be paid for them.

I can't afford to be unpaid. Rich people with big savings accounts and assets can do that, but not the rest of us poor folk.

    I’m not sure. It would depend on where the internship was and what doors it might open.

    With most of my assests depleted becasue of this downtuen, If I did take an internship it would be working two jobs to make ends meet

      I am 54. I was a Sales Manager in school supplies & went back to school to be an Ultrasound tech.I am now interning & loving it. Hire me!

      I'm in my sixties and would love the opportunity to 'intern' and pick up new skills. I have no intention of fading away into obscurity.

            Spin! VOLUNTEER, if employer doesn't realize the need to hire you, yet, or offer internning. Make sure your offer to volunteer is genuine!

                  How can you pay bills, if you don't get paid? I guess an unpaid internship would be okay if I had other income to offset expenses!
