I work 70 hours a week driving a truck, then I work another 30-40 at Table Talk Ministries, making free home repairs for the elderly and the disabled, which I pay for from my own pocket.

$53,000.00 per week, I could eliminate 34 people from my waiting list who have rain coming through their roofs as you read this, then I could install wheelchair ramps for the five people waiting for those so they can get out of their homes to get to their dialisys treatments, and I could also finish removing an oversized tub and installing a custom built shower so one man who happens to be large can get into his shower.

I could probably quit the trucking job so I would have more time to concentrate on the things most important to me....Helping folks.

This woman needs to get over it... give me one week of her "pay" I could payoff my mortgage. Give me two weeks and I would have no debt and be set for a while. Tell her to live in the normal world for a week and see how she makes it! No one needs that much money!

That calculates to $2,756,000.00 annually. What if she needs to fuel her lear jet? Or has a ginormous mortgage? Does she have a jewelry allowance? Perhaps her dry cleaning bill is the issue. Or her lingerie bill? I mean who wears the same underwear ever again?! I know I require $400.00 a week just for my mochachino addiction. Maybe some rehab? I have a friend who was hopelessly addicted to plastic surgery and now she has to see a TAXIDERMIST! Oh, the humanity!!!!You "people" need to realize that good butlers and maids do NOT grow on trees! I am disgusted with the lack of sympathy here! My yacht needs $15,000.00 a week to operate between the food, liquor, waitstaff, taxes, fuel and docking fees! Who are you to judge us????

What business it of anyone, what private individuals do with THEIR money.Enough with the class warfare. Socialism benefits no one, but those in power. If we don't watch it, we'll all be told what's an "acceptable and sufficient" income.

That woman needs to live in a homeless shelter for a while, or even better, under a bridge with only a blanket for warmth. There are too many people in dire straits for anyone to waste that much money. If she were known for her great charitable work, I might feel different, but $600 a week for flowers?

I am a 43 year old breast cancer survivor. I would help women going through breast cancer treatment. Everyone responds to treatment differently. Some are able to do anything and some become disabled during treatmtnt. People need help and with $53,000 a week, I would help women get to their treatments, clean their house, cook, buy their groceries.

Breast cancer treeatment can also be devastating to one's appearance. I would also love to provide a spa with a support group, exercise, massage. and a salon. Anything to help women and men get to a better place through this process. Success to me is helping one person breathe easier and have peace in their heart.

Maybe she could help all the unemployed families. I know Michigan has been hit especially hard-can you imagine what a blessing it would be to give even $1000 a week to 53,000 families that can't pay their bills and have no jobs?

I know we all get accustomed to living a certain way, but that amount of money is pretty extreme. There is a ton you can live without-What she thinks she needs and what she wants are 2 different things.

Granted I'm not here to judge others, but in this case there is no need for this amount of money. 2.756 Million Annually! Most people will never see that in a life time, 6 months on her pay and I would be able to pay off not only my student loan debt but also my husbands, pay off my mortgage on a house we just bought, both vehicles that we finance, and within a years time I would be able to eliminate all debt from my parents, his parents as well as my brother and sister in law....COMBINED!!! What person can seriously spend $4500 on clothing each week?! even if it were possible I would think it would get a little bit boring! There is nothing wrong with having money, those who have worked hard for it deserve to have it, as well as the things that come with it. But this countess used to be an Investment Banker....why doesn't she go back to work, take the settlement as previously discussed, and get over it! There is no room in the world for princesses like her. My husband goes to work every day never knowing if it's his last, and she whining that she can't buy $600 Flowers and that she might have to take a cab, or worse drive herself around! No amount of money even makes someone truly happy!!

First, I would pay off the debt I have incurred from my former employer who scammed me for over a hundred thousand dollars. I also owe the attorney who was unable to get any money back from this scammer; who is also scamming others. Then, I would work to get him put in jail so he wouldn't hurt others. I would also give money to my friends who need help; especially in this economy. I have single girlfriends who are working seven days a week; looking for more work; working two jobs a day. I do the same and feel guilty because I don't have any work today. I would help my one friend with her production that is geared to children. I would also take some money and go to the doctor and dentist and get a checkup; which I haven't done in a few years because of money constraints. THEN, I'd take a well deserved vacation...would love to go to a Formula 1 race.

Wow, $53,000 a week! What could I do with this, let me count the ways. I'd would not have to get a job; I'm 62, and its really hard to get any kind of job out there. I had one company not hire me because I would retire in 6 years (probably not! I plan to work as long as I can), but I noticed this same job in the want adds again this week...probably hired that kid that really didn't want a job. I do work, part time as a Sub-teacher making 6.25 an hour when I can get the work. Its out there but you have to go a mile or two to find it. And believe me folks those teachers need all the help they can get, and an extra building just to keep the class study books, papers and other materials in. Some time you're in the neighborhood, drop in on your kid's class unexspectedly and check it out. Aside from a job, I'd get my son a new car or truck since he got his stolen at work no less! I'd pay off all our bills and get another new car (our cars are 1993 Ford Taurus's, one has no bumper and one has a bent front bumper BUT both are paid for!) We don't have a garage, so I'd like to get one of those car ports for under $1000 going up all over Oklahoma. I haven't bought me or anyone in my family new clothes in 3yrs. I usually get new stuff at garage sales...got some pretty cute stuff and in style too. Our church is in the middle of building a new church and this resession really hit us hard. We're doing the inside by ourselves, so its taken awhile longer than we planned and we want to do our own parking lot, but it will cost about a hundred and fourty thousand more than we planned and we'll get it done, but it will be just a little longer. I have friends who have soring medical bills, I'd like to help, multi-family in a single family house I'd like to help, missionaries overseas and here in the US I'd like to help, one of the things I'd like to do is buy some of these 3 floor businesses sitting derelick to use for families who have lost everything and are in shelters, to have low income houseing set up for people who have jobs, but don't have enough money to get into a decent house or appartment. It would be like a gated community, and if everyone owns a "piece of the rock" so to speak, then it shouldn't go down the tubes!!

This just offends me.....this wasn't a marriage, it was a business arrangement gone bad. She married for the $$ and he wanted young arm candy. I work every day, struggle every day to keep a roof over my head, the utilities turned on and my granddaughter in diapers and food for my kids who are also struggling. I am probably going to have to file bankruptcy this year and this woman has the audacity to complain about $38 million she didn't even earn??!! Get a real job honey...there has to be a empty street corner in New York somewhere, although if you find a man who thinks a piece of a** is worth $100 million, someone might want to commit him for a psych eval....jeeezzz.

With $53,000 per week, I would build a new fellowship hall for my church, donate $10,000 per week to a small local christian school in my community that struggles monthly to meet its expenses. With that type of income, I could finally afford to purchase health insurance for myself and buy a new car.

You know, I just see what money does to some people. I am so blessed that I do not have this problem. All I can say is: just pray for her.

With that kind of money I could pay my bills, put my children through college, buy my parents house, buy me a house, take a vacation (it has been almost 10 years since that happened), and pay for the supplies that my students need for school. I teach middle school and my students need so much help in just having enough paper and pencil in order to do their school work.

I know a school system of 900 children in Papua New Guinea where all the children do not even have enough paper to write on and use a pencil right down to the nub - they sure could use only a week's worth of that settlement. They don't even throw away the paper until both sides are used up.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Most people don't even make that much money in a year. The type of lifestyle she requires isn't even that necessary....600.00 or more for flowers...for what? Does she actually need to get her hair done every week and does she really need almost 5000.00 for clothes. You can only wear one outfit at a time. Anyway, she needs to get over it and come down to earth. It she only gets a portion of whatever the settlement comes out to be...that's more than enough. It's probably alot more than what she started out with.

I don't think I could spend that much a week. Would be fun trying. I have been out of work for 1 yr. and would like to have just a little of that. The rich really don't have a clue on real life.

I would help a TON of people who need help....one case at a time. It is time for the meek to inherit.

i think she should give some of that money to a homeless shelter $300 for flowers. I may be younger then most people and take a horticulture class during school but no one spends $300 for flowers not even in my school. I think she was so used to getting all that before and thinks sence most divorse are expencive she can get $53,000 a week. If she had kid i can see that but she doesnt so she really doesnt need all that money. My dad has to pay child support every week but not that much not even close to that number.

My mom feels that if she had that money she could pay all her bills, buy a new house, change her job, move to a warmer state (when i turn 18), and much more because we dont even have that money and so we really cant explain it.
