The Best pick up line I have ever heard was-the bartender came to me and said "That guy over there wants to know what color your eyes are." I said he would have to come see for himself.

30 years ago, at the end of our first date, I said to him "If I told you you have a nice body, would you hold it against me?" It must have worked cause we're celebrating our 29th anniversary in Oct!!

A guy cam up to me at a bar in Virginia and said: "You got a brush? I've been at the races all day and I need to brush my hair". And yes, he had a mullet. I guess he was trying to impress me that he had been at the Nascar race in Richmond.

I've been out to many bars, and overheard many pick up lines. I personally don't use them, but if I am interested I'll give a wave and if I get a response I make the move to go over and introduce myself. I make a joke out of the awkwardness of first meeting and even joke about the chessy pick up lines. Fellas, if your gonna use a line...make a joke out of it, as most people can appreciate a joke, and if they don't, move on!

A guy came in and sat down in the stool next to me, scribbled his number on a napkin passed it to me and said "Here's my number, call me later, I ain't got aids or nothing and I will rock your world". Uggh. I can't imagine this working!

At a club, after discussing bad lines with a lovely friend, I went up to her later, while she was with a girlfriend I didn't know, and said, "Excuse me miss, are you drunk enough to think I'm sexy yet? It's almost closing time, can I buy you a drink?" Her friend cracked up and told me it was the best Bad Line she ever heard. I'm happily married, so it was all for play.

"Girl, your father must be a terrorist because you are the bomb!" I couldn't do nothing but laugh!

Here is a line that I heard while in college, "What's your name? You know that The Bible says to greet one another with a holy kiss."

On first date the guy says, "You are pretty now, so you must have been a knockout when you were younger!" I thought I would like to knock you out cold!

While waiting to cross a busy street, holding my 3 year-olds hand and with an infant in the other arm, I hear from behind me: "Mother, want another?" I thought it was a lousy joke at first, but quickly realized he thought it was a witty come-on.

This is the line I always used, when i was younger, as an icebreaker and it at least always got a smile "Would you be the mother of all 50 of my children then how bout 2".

When I was in college, I was talking to two women and one of them said to me, 'You don't seem to have a pickup line like other guys.' The other girl said, 'That's his line!'

The worst one I ever got was in a calculus class: "I wish I was your derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves."

The wonders of World of Warcraft, I had a guy who followed me around for a day and eventually said to me "My pants just ripped, would you repair them for me?"

The worst pick up line I ever had was this one guy that stupid one about losing his number, and wanting mine. The guy was a complete creep that I knew from around town, and I was 15 where he was like 60, so I took a peice of paper from my binder, wrote down a number and gave it to him (with a fake name) the number was the local number to mental health services.

I wish I couldve seen his reaction when he tried it.

Honestly boys/men, pick up lines are lame, most women prefere a nice "hello, care if I join you" but if you insist on a pick up line, stick to the nice respectful ones, no one thinks well of a sleezeball that makes jokes about trying to get into womens pants. its just not cool.

I was on vacation in Nassau with my cousin and a drunken man approached me - TWICE - teetering and staring - eventually he looked at me over his drink as he brought it again to his lips - with his lazy, tired, drunked eyes and said, "I like you. I like you mucho." My cousin and I use that line with each other all the time now.

My pickup lines from homeless men:

(1) As I walked briskly down the street to work one morning, a man approaching me from the other direction, walked straight at me, almost INTO me, and brushed past my cheek as he slowly, deeply, (sexily?) howled, "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMmmmmnnnnnn"...

(2) As I again walked briskly down the street to lunch one afternoon, a homeless drunk lay in a doorway on the side of the street. He saw me, made eye contact, lifted his arms to heaven and said, "PRAAAAIIIIIIISSSSSSSEEE GOOOOOOOOOOOD"

(3) I was involved with a homeless ministry and as I sat encouraging a young man to at least TELL his parents he had been homeless the last few months while he was over Thanksgiving dinner (he hadn't told them, poor thing!!) another man walked over to him and looked me over and then audibly whispered to his friend, "Hey...she homeless?" He looked at him and whispered back, "Naw dude."

Perhaps I would have a better chance at a date on the streets...*thinking*

Another one from the life of Miss CaraBelle...

I was in Africa on mission for two weeks, working at a school several local churches were supporting in a particular community. While I was attempting to find out what was wrong with the superintendent's computer the superintendent approached me and said..."You know...you are very beautiful woman..." I thanked him. He then asked, "You want African husband?"

Now, I don't have superintendents asking me to marry them after we've just met in America. That was a pretty good offer. It even came with a 12-year-old son who didn't speak English and a bike. I imaginged myself showing up on my mother's doorstep with what I picked up in Africa...

The cutest one I ever had was in college. "If I follow you home, will you keep me". He sure was a cutie, wonder what ever happened to him?
