Yes. I haven't watched the show since Carrie Underwood. Ellen's humor and realism just got my interested in AI again.

LOVE her, but at least Paula had recording experience and had been around the music biz, even if she's not a great singer. We shall see...

She has a genuine interest in music, look at the guests she has on her show. She also has had highs and lows in her own career. It helps

Ellen rocks - she is brilliant and kind and knows her music. I haven't watched the show in a while, but I'll check her out!

Ellen knows music but she will be nice to everyone. She can't be critical and make honest evaluations. She won't want to hurt anyone.

    I like DeGeneres as a talk show host, but I am still rooting for Paula Abdul to return. Ellen's just not as unpredictably fun as Paula.

    She'll be articulate, funny and topical. The show doesn't have anything to do with talent or ability anyway. Just sells crap on TV.
