People are bartering almost anything and everything imaginable these days, from roof repairs to legal services to Pilates sessions to hotel accommodations to babysitting shifts. It’s entirely possible to swap your way to really cool things that you need or simply want. Have you tried swapping before? Or have you successfully cashed in on stuff you owned when you needed the money?
Do you have bartering success stories to share?

I am currently unemployed. My truck broke down, and in exchange for repairs. I made a website for the auto-mechanic, and fixed his computer at no cost.
The trade described in which you traded website design services for car repair...is called "direct trading."
It's also a great example of using the power of "barter arbitrage" to use what you have to get what you want....for far less then you would have had to pay cash.
In this example the cost of the car repair was the cost of providing the web design which I can assume was far less then what the cash bill would have been.
I have been teaching barter arbitrage techniques for a long time...and the fact remains....BARTER is a billion dollar plus industry that literally lurks in the shadows.
Very few billion dollar industries have such little quality information out there in terms of helping show people how the game is really played. Trust me...there's a reason they keep this industry on the hush hush.
While the barter trade industry continues to promote a "chickens for goat" mentality...my students have quietly exploited this "niche" for all it's worth through controversial barter arbitrage techniques that exploit legal loopholes in the trade industry.
Barter done right...isn't about trading this for that...it's about creating massive leverage out of very little...and using that leverage to create profit and opportunities for pennies on the dollar.
It's unfortunate that a billion dollar industry purposely keeps the information about the "real opportunity" hidden away.
Don't believe me? Go to your local library some day. You'll find more books on beekeeping then you will on this industry that generates tens of billions of dollars...quietly. That aint no accident.

The fact is, perception is reality...and barter done correctly...creates massive leverage opportunities.
I have students who basically exploit this multi billion dollar industry on a daily basisi...and the truth is...
