Do I think Tiger has a problem? Undoubtedly. I hope he gets some therapy to help him understand himself better. We all can opine as to what he should do but I think the truth is this. The reasons a man or woman strays are very personal. If those two have a hole in their love life and Tiger obviously considers a strong exciting sex life necessary for the marriage, they may be committing to a fallow existence if they stay together. If that's the case Tiger's stripes won't change. Period. One things absolutely sure. He like many of us have destroyed the most sacred part of a marriage.... trust. The bedrock of trust is broken despite any commitment from this point forward. My wife forgave me but (early in my marriage) I destroyed the most pure part of our 30+ years and regret hurting her so bad every day. I know one transgression may not but what about 3 or more? Besides, a lot of STD's can take years before they can be seen on a test, take Aids for example, that can take up to 15 years I have heard. Men in a high profile "arenas" are targeted by women all of the time. Tiger is a man and the women who chase "married men" should be held accountable. He is away from home, on a circuit and vulnerable and testosterone has no mercy and no brains. Impulses run through all of us and no one is perfect, no one.

Tiger is a great man and a very famous and wealthy man and the women who make it their business to "go after" the fame and fortune are more to blame than he is, in this matter.

The children are the most important factor and they should be given the most consideration in this situation.

If Elin leaves Tiger, what will she gain? Justification? He is wrong and she gets to be right? Now what?
