His lies and broken promises have shown me that he not worthy of public trust. However, he is a human, subject to mistakes, and subject to forgiveness. But that will take admission of his transgressions, and then time to earn that trust back. A lot of time.

He set a precedent in requiring doctors nurses order countless unnecessary procedures to keep from the possibility of being sued for malpractice.

To top that off he lied on camera (too many times to count) for two years!!! Imagine if he were President, whoever was his veep would very likely be assuming the office!! Of course the good times aren't over yet as Mr. Edwards has some 'splaining to do to the FBI since he (allegedly) diverted campaign funds to his baby mama!! After sharing an apartment with her for four years in Prague where she came to find employment, I knowingly conceived the child with her that she wanted so badly for so long. When she return to ukraine to bear this child I imagined the little family would live happily ever after. Fortunately, this little boy is nobody but my son. His mother has consistently brought him to me to role model, and to me he has bonded. I've raised other women's children before. I have known many women intimately. I have never known this love between me and my son. It is a fortunate thing that life is so chaotic, and that we commit rash acts while engaged in sexual activity. To those who suggest that Elizabeth Edwards divorce her husband:

One should consider that her present health probably prevents that. Also, it would seem likely that her current health insurance policy and coverage are contingent on her staying married to him, if only technically. I suspect that this is probably the least expensive arrangement for both of them. Besides, I would think that the man probably feels morally obligated to provide for his wife's care, especially now -- and in my opinion he should.

Think: How many of us would be lucky enough to get, much less afford, the health insurance necessary to treat pre-existing terminal breast cancer after divorce or a spouse's job loss? The Edwards situation provides a good example of why a responsible health reform bill should provide for the acceptance and reasonable cost of provding care for pre-existing health conditions.

I know how she must feel. She is between a rock and a hard place. I am so thankful that I am only battling incurable cancer. I battled the cheating husband years ago, long before the cancer. That was hell itself. To have to battle both at the same time seems impossible.

I hate it when people talk bad about Elizabeth. Everybody should put their selves in her shoes. I'm sure besides the heartache she suffers due to HIM, she also carries the burden of what to do. Building a new life for herself isn't necessarily an option. Her children will see for themselves what a POS their father is; kids always figure these things out for themselves when they grow up. Check out our divorce rate. Not that all splits are caused by cheating but a whole lot of it is. Also, a lot of folks never get caught or manage to keep current spouses if they do.
