meh. TLC is not the channel it used to be. Far too busy showing "I didn't know I was Preggers" and "Say yes to the dress" and other fluff.
TLC used to compete head to toe with Discovery to see who could air the best content. That carried on even after Discovery bought out TLC. But nowadays, TLC is out of the running entirely, Discovery is lost in a swamp, and the Science Channel is happy borrowing reruns from the company vaults.
But TLC is the one channel among them that could go away and really nobody would notice. Sad.
Does anyone really care about the Miss America Pageant anymore? It seems antiquated.
