Elizabeth, women from both parties supports you. We see through the cruelty of what is happening. Please let's have peace, as stated "you are going after the republican Hypocrisy" of the health care bill. There’s plenty of that on both sides. We need a bi partisan solution as no one side has ever had all the answers, and it can be done! God Bless you and your children, you are in my prayers.

When it comes to social programs the Repubs have never had any interested in helping the little folks. The Dems, despite opposition of Repubs, passed Social Security and Medicare. The Repubs have lied about the efficacy of the health care bill, and the cost. The bill was greatly watered down to get some Repub votes. Now we have a weak bill with no bipartisan support. Go Elizabeth, go Dems!

As a male I can tell you that it is simply in our DNA to go after newer, better deal. Edwards managed to do what allot of guys end up doing: having more than one "baby's mamma". I personally have know many guys who either had a girl on the side or went after greener pastures after knocking up the previous. A secondary girlfriend, sometimes even a tertiary one, is not that uncommon for guys that can get away with it. And there are men that DO get away with it. The causes? Who knows, maybe it is just a consequence of our modern life or the evolutionary throwback behavior.

Rielle Hunter does not look like she is interested in being a Mom at all. JEdwards should fight for custody. Talk about a public display for attention, did she pick the dress shirt and pearl outfit? Way to go GQ - you just provided us with a real life example of how men can be easily manipulated. Whose idea was it to fall for her side of the story? Keep playing out that fantasy guys - creates a winner every time right?

I agree. My hubby cheated and I did find polarods of his mistress. Thank God there wasn't facebook back in 1900 or I would have felt "disgusted" as Elizabeth. Since my "hubby" left me with 4 kids,13-5, and no money, there was no MEDIA around us, but family and friends either called to let me know that I either was the problem or that he was a s---bag. Sometimes people should keep their opinions to themselves. But, then, that's just my opinion!!
One question begs answering.....if Rielle was shocked that the photographer used the "inappropriate" pictures in the article, why did she pose for them and allow him to take those type pictures in the first place? Also read somewhere that Reille didn't realize he wasn't take just face shots....isn't SHE a photographer? Shouldn't she know what he was photographing? And WHY get all sexed up in a man's shirt and no pants for a head shot? How naieve does she think people are???
I hope Hunter is just certifiable, because to go after a man whose wife is dying of bone cancer is too cruel. One look at those pics of her in GQ has to tell you something about her stability. And she's upset about them. Who lounged on the bed in pearls and no underwear, and amidst her daughter's toys. Or were they her toys. Cuckoo!

Rielle is disgusting, there's no doubt about that, but the person in the interview that said the marriage was not broken is just as delusional as Ms. Hunter. The fact that Edwards was cheating on his cancer stricken wife is the very definition of a broken marriage. Wether Elizabeth knew about it or not is immaterial. The marriage broke as soon as he dropped his pants, and I'm sure Rielle was not the first.

Elizabeth Edwards stopped being a 'victim' when she published her memoir about dealing with her husband's affair. As far as I'm concerned, there are NO adults in this situation, which is horrible since so many innocent kids are involved. They're ALL selfish twits, Mrs. Edwards included.
Whatever the Edwards' marriage was before Elizabeth's cancer, all bets should have been off at that point. My sister-in-law died of breast cancer to the bone. She had the best of care, as her daughter is a world-famous oncologist. My sister-in-law died an excruciating death. John's commitment and loyalty belonged to Elizabeth; John and Reille's behavior shows what scum they both are.
That is what the Bible refers to in the beginning the human race had the opportunity to be governed by God. But as we know now the human race wanted Kings and leaders canceled God and this is what we have now. Prostitution no moral value, and it's in our days now where we live in a Super pervert and adulterous generation. What went/goes on in the Edwards marriage (?) is, and should remain, personal/private and between them...why does Elizabeth feel it necessary to share it w/the world by writing a book about her husband's affair?! As for Rielle, her actions speak for themselves...does she really believe she is endearing herself or improving her image by posing for those pictures and making the details of her relationship w/Edwards public knowledge. It seems that all parties in this fiasco are delusional. Arielle should not be singled out as the villain. I am always surprised at how so many women believe that because a man is married, he automatically values his relationship with his wife more than he does the women he's out starting relationships with. (I know that sounds odd, but seriously, the marriage is a joke in so many cases). Who in the world knows who he truly cares about... or if he cares about any of them at all? It reminds me of an episode of The Jerry Springer Show, where the husband/boyfriend is fooling around with another woman behind their back. The two women come out on stage and the first thing they do is try to rip each others heads off when they should be ripping the head of the only person they have in common, the cheating husband/boyfriend. If it weren't for him they wouldn't even know the other existed.
As for Reille Hunters photo spread, what were you expecting? This is her 15 min. of fame and a chance to get paid! Remember, she was also lied to as well. Elizabeth shouldn't lower herself to Hunters standards by even making a statement about the Ho's photo spread...Spread being the operative word here..she obviously spreads em...Elizabeth has been a classy lady and Hunter has tried to diminish her credibility by making statements about the marriage between Elizabeth and "Johnny" that she had no knowledge of. She was being used for a little playtime- and I doubt Johnny told her exactly the truth...he sure didn't tell the rest of the country the truth. He is a DOG ...she is proven to be a HO.
