I find it ironic that so many "sexual addiction" therapists equate a man who has unveiled his own sexuality into one that his hiding from intimacy. How can intimacy be established with another individual if we can't even be honest with ourselves and comfortable with who we are? Perhaps the time has come for us to take our heads out of the sand and realize that monogamy is perhaps not the best model for human sexuality.
