I think they made tooo big of a deal about it . I got the feeling that they were embarrased and not proud to show off their true beauty. KLG had eye make up on. I thought the point of it was NO MAKE UP??? I changed the channel.

I think what Hoda, Rose and Kathy Lee did was just great, but there is always a "but", I wish all the magazines that are put out such as Oprah, as an example, should not be air brushed to look better or thinner than what they are. We have a lot of talk show hosts, movie stars etc. and the only one who posed, as she looked and said it like it should be was Jamie Lee Curtis. These famous people do make an impression on young girls and I don't think it is right when they are air brushed to make them look better. Thanks for listening.

I remember when Susan Boyle was ridiculed by Sharon Osborne. I wonder if Sharon could do the same as Susan Boyle, Hoda, & Kathy Lee were in doing their day job? I did not start wearing make-up to work until I was in my mid 30's, and only now because I like to play make-up! If I am running late, moisturizer, eyeliner, & mascara.

To pull it off you have to have an inner confidence and a good moisturizer. I remember myself and another lady talking a woman in her early 50's out of buying make-up for the first time. We were all at Dullards make-up counter & pleading "no, don't do it, you're beautiful." She actually thought she was missing out on something. We were like, only do it for fun, kind of like playing dress up, but not because you hit 50.

Oh man!!! These women should NOT have gone without makeup. They look downright scary without makeup. Tell me that Kathie Lee Gifford without makeup doesn't look like one of those women in Charlie Manson's gang. There's a reason why department stores devote an entire section to makeup for women. If women want to feel "liberated" they should leave their panties at home, but for God sakes please don't go out in public without makeup.

What a fake bunch of LIARS. Come on how stupid do you think people believe Hoda and Kathy Lee unmake up face looks like that.  Anyone can make that face without make up on. Same way you can with make up on. But nice try Hoda and Kathy Lee. Maybe some day they can do real stories on real issues. They are both Fakes that is the reason i don't watch those two idiots anymore.

Wow! They looked terrible! So much for truth and honesty. I guess we could all get TV jobs if we always hid what we look like and had a staff of people to make us look good and say the right words to maintain the audience. Now I can really say I'm glad I try to avoid watching the show unless there's someone on that I know and doesn't play all these games.

Kathy Lee is full of crap!! She had mascara and heavy lip gloss on....she's such a phoney trying to fit it with everyone else on that show...URGH!

Some of you are sooo mean. How can you criticize? If you were a famous face would you have the guts to do that? They were on national TV, not running to the grocery store. It amazes me that people will watch this just to find something wrong with them. They both looked just fine!

I thought it was a great idea. And I do believe they had no make up on because you can tell by their body language how uncomfortable they were, especially Hoda. It just proves she made herself do it despite how she felt. Now that is real and that is brave. Go ahead and hate Kathie Lee because she is confident. Trust me she doesn't care what you think. And she shouldn't. How sad you are.

I'm sorry but Natalie Morales definitely looked like she had full eye makeup on- at least liner and shadow.....not exactly truthful. No one could possible have eyes lined like that 'naturally'. Shame on you Today!

The makeup artist is my best friend from high school. Mary and I have been friends for over 40 years now. Her skills in makeup never cease to amaze me and make me very proud of her! I'll never forget the year I went to New York back when she worked on SNL. She even helped me do a makeover but kept it very light and natural. I still follow her tips today!

I"m proud of them for doing it. Thank you! It made me be less hard on myself.

I quit wearing makeup years ago when I realized it was just a mask to hide behind; I got tired of seeing the falseness on others and didn't want to be like that. Women who can't go out without their makeup think they have to lie to the world about what they look like, and that's just sad. KLG and Hoda found out today, when they took the mask off, that it's not just a mask, it's a prison, too.

Well, I just want to say thank goodness for make up!!!!

Did you catch all of the prep work Hoda has done before the make-up goes on? Then the layers of different colors. No wonder she was looking extremely rough-her eyes look like she had been on a binder. Squinty and puffy.

No wonder she comes in first. Then they have to deal with that nasty hair of hers.

Actually can't stand the woman or her attitude. The Today show needs to get rid of her!

Dear Hoda I think you are beautiful,however I am quite envious,I am only 48 and was mistaken for my 23 yr.old daughters GRANDMOTHER last week at the hospital when she was having baby #2! I got in the shower later and cried until my tummy hurt! I was attractive (or had been told) until a botched surgery in 03. The Dr. perforated my colon & we didn't find out for 4 months,by then I was near death for the 3rd time in 2 years. Due to that & her not prescribing anything for bone loss,I went into full blown ostieoporosis.Right now I have 2 fracured vertabres and a ruptured disc. Although I am so very gratful to be alive,I am not living but merely existing and I hate it! Honestly it's a vanity thing I feel so ugly and look so much older than I am. I would give anything to have a little work done but trying to survive on disability income, I can't even afford the wrinkle products at the store! I also began loosing my teeth because of all of the surgery stuff,I had bone augmentation on my face due to the bone loss too.Before all this ugliness invaded my life I did embrace my age,now my body & face are not my own and it makes me so sad all the time,I don't like to go any where in fact I refused to attend my 30th. class reunion last month! My daughter and her 2 babies live with me and the stress from that alone makes me feel like I will never recover!(her husband is in the Air Force) I was so looking forward to the me time that comes with the empty nest but I don't think I will get that until I die,she won't leave! Please forgive me for spewing my life on your shoes,I love the Today Show & never miss it although I do have to tape it at times so my 3 yr.old grandaughter(my sunshine on a cloudy day) can watch Mickey Mouse or the Sprout channel...AHHH! I just want to feel pretty again and feel comfortable in my skin...You look fabulous and your personality makes you even more beautiful! Blessings,Kellie

Here in Maine, most of us go au naturelle all year round. You two are absolutely natural beauties and do NOT NEED make-up. I have, however, used sunscreen since I was in my early 20's in the U.S. Army. The middle east is not kind to the skin. You are lovely women inside and out!

I loved this show! I am 52 years old and have never worn makeup...all women are stunning without makeup. They should do the show more often without makeup.

Kathy has mascara on...dosen't count!
