I am a coffee fanatic, I even started drinking coffee at an early age. This being said, I do not agree with the growing number of parents allowing their children to start drinking coffee much less caffeine. Caffeine is know to inhibit calcium absorption, why would any parent armed with this knowledge allow their children to become deficient in vital nutrients. I think the Doc had an opportunity to stop this behavior and didn't...what a shame.
