Latest blunder feeds frustration in the Gulf

Here's my plan for cleaning up the oil spill. It won't appeal to the petroleum whores aka members of the Senate and the House. Until the oil’s cleaned up, put a 95% lien on the incomes of all the big BP execs and use the money for the cleanup. Even with only 5% of their income left, they’ll still be worth more than you and me put together. Force them to sell off their houses and everything in them to help pay for the cleanup, and then make them and their families live in FEMA trailers on the Gulf. Every morning, they should have a chance to meet every single one of the people whose lives they’ve destroyed, and every afternoon, they should personally participate in the cleanup. And at the end of every day, they should be made to lie down in the oil and get it all over them until they’re good and mucky. That might actually change people’s opinions that these are evil men who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Those platoons of lobbyists who are descending on Washington and slipping all those petrodollar up the backsides of all those legislators who are bending over and spreadin' em wide can undo the PR damage that Tony Hayward has done for his company at no charge. Horsewhipping would be too good for these guys. Mr. President, Senators, Congressmen, get tough where it matters for a change.
