She is very attractive and has a gorgeous body, but business attire is more appropriate for court. Good luck Lindsay, I think you need it.

I'm sooo tired of the trailer trash Lohan family antics. Like Palin, I REALLY wish she'd go away.

No, the dress was too short and too tight. Just proves she has no respect for the law, herself or anything else!

She could have made a better choice-- Thiw was too short and too tight, however, at least she was covered. I've seen worse!

NO! She is disgustingly spoiled and has no respect for our legal system; she should have wore a suit. That outfit was worn on purpose.

Not something to wear to court. Should wear something more conservative. She was probably trying to turn on the judge.

I thought it was a nice dress and white is the sign of purity.

I prefer wearing light blue in court. I always win when I wear light blue.

Obviously a man's point of view. I'm sure she thought the judge would think so too. Didn't work, nor did the V neck black top she wore today! This guy is on to her. Her lawyer had better wise up and see that she is properly dressed for a courtroom appearance, or he'll throw the book at her! She dressed like this on purpose! The necklace she wore drew your eye right where she wanted you to look. She looked more like a hooker than a young lady who doesn't want to go to jail. ALL of her courtroom appearences showed total disrespect for the law.

You are so correct, she does look like a hooker.

Yes the guys do like the way she is dressed. Let me ask the men this question, would you want your daughter, or wife to appear in court dressed like that?

I think Lindsay looked great . Maybe not apppropriate for the occasion but her good looks and dress definetly did adhere to her benefit on this occasion . She also sounded believable and serious. This post is not a positive commentary or judgement on her bad behavior but that wasnt the question , was it ? i hope she learned her lesson and gets on the straight and narrow and be law abiding. Temptation to err is everywhere so its quite difficult for her to stay out of the party scene but lets hope she can execrcise better discretion going forward . i cant see her in a prison population and if this is stereotyping her, so be it ! People go unpunished all the time for more serious crimes than hers and that doesnt mean that 2 wrongs make a right . But i want her to fix herself !!! that wont happen in jail !!!

Actually, he was dressed inappropriately, and he was "bashed" for it.

You dress professionally when you are in court, that is the protocol. It is a sign of respect to the legal system and, most importantly, to the judge. Lindsay has clearly shown that she has no respect for either the legal system or whichever judge is tasked with controlling her. This is evident. She has a history of negligent behavior, I hope she is found guilty. The judge called it, she thinks the laws of normal society do not apply to her. She is wrong.

I believe she was dressing professionally considering her profession is a celebrity.

                        #2.5 - Fri Feb 11, 2011 6:01 PM EST

Wow, that is a thoroughly pointless argument. Dressing "professionally" and the word "profession" don't actually have the linked meaning you tried to play it off as having.

Her profession has nothing to do with it, since she was in a situation where the focus was not her profession, she was in court. As such the correct course of action is to dress according to the protocol of the court room. Based on your logic if you work at Burger King and have to go to court to fight a parking ticket would you wear your Burger King uniform? No, you dress, here's that word again, PROFESSIONALLY.

Instead of jail (as she has seen the inside now many times), rehab (same stint), etc. etc. etc. - she needs to be placed in classes teaching her how to grow up act, react, proper dress attire, maybe a FEW lessons with Miss Manners, something she apparently never received growing up - for that reason I feel sorry for her!

I find it hard to feel sorry for a rich, spoiled, entitled, drug addicted brat who is like teflon when it comes to the law. I can tell you she probably feels sorry for you since you're not as rich and famous as her.

Agree, I could feel sorry for her AFTER seeing her do some work in Haiti, Rhwanda, or someplace needed. She appears to like media attention and will do anything for it, at least it would be attention in a positive way while serving someone other than herself. She needs to be in jail and treated like anyone else who breaks the law,no different.

She needs to go to jail for the simple reason that we won't have to hear about this waste of space for 3 years (and take her mom too). They're both just a waste of space. Her decision making isn't improving even in the face of the law. Loser!

That being said she looked really good in that white fitting outfit!!

Who to say this jewler is not just looking for his 15 minutes of fame on the back of Lohan. It's been done before.  So before you and all the others comeout with comments and name calling about Lohan take a hard look at yourself.  It is your type the builds on this stuff to a bigger deal then it is.

Sorry to deflate your inane argument, but I linked here from a news site. MSNBC. I don't purchase printed news, it is nothing but a waste. And no, I don't think my actions of reading the news make it worse for her or anyone else, because I have common sense.

As to your second point, is the jewelery store just using this for publicity. Maybe you missed it in the news, but that jewelery store is doing quite well, their jewelery has been used in many beneficial situations. Having said that, they very well may have chosen to report it stolen instead of tracking her down and asking for it back, which is actually consistent with the requirements of the legal system. Whether Lindsay intentionally walked out with it, or accidentally walked out with it, both are illegal. The difference is one is a felony and one is a misdemeanor. But either way, the legally appropriate course of action is to report it to the police instead of confronting the suspected thief.

I don't really think that she should wear white after all of her antics. An angel she is not. I haven't seen anyone this hell bent on self distruction for a long time. She's still got a long way to go before folks are going to take a chance on her as an actress. Too bad. I always hate to see a person waste thier youth.

She COULD have been a good actress, had a good run,COULD have. Now she is in the likes of Snookie and The Situation(who by the way, should always show off his abs, sparing us from looking at his face). She is never appropriate and anything she does gets people talking about her(guilty me)and that is what she craves, attention in any light. A sad reality that by 2015,one way or another we most likely will stop hearing about her. Years later, there she will be on an Oprah like show, crying, talking about being homeless,addicted,incarcerated,or......if she makes it that far. I will continue to watch though, for like with that show Hoarders,I am both disgusted and fascinated by her and her anctics.

I( am totally fed up with her and fed up with the Justice System also. This woman is on probation and she committs a FELONY, and all the system does is give her BAIL. Come on. That's not what probation is for. When a convict is let out of jail on probation, they have to follow the law and not committ anymore crimes, if they do - their probationm is revoke and they are arressted and sent back to prison period. This bitch gets bail and gets to go home. Now there should be a march on the courts to demand that everyone gets treated like this - if we ever see ourselves getting in this position. I bet things would change for Lohan then. How many chances is the judge going to give her. She should of been taken into custody right when she was found guilty of the FELONY. I keep saying felony because theft over $300.00 or $400.00 is considered a FELONY and you are suppose to go to jail. I bet if it was another other person of color - that person would of been hancuffed and brought to County period.

                                          Hey Sean,

I find her to be a waste of oxygen also, but note that she has NOT been found guilty of committing a felony - yet.

                                            No, not guilty YET...

I have tried to figure out if she is a true moron and very stupid, or dumb like a fox with a "who gives a sh&t attitude." I am going for the latter at this point. She has been given special treatment over and over.... why?? Because she is famous? C'mon. Everyone on this vine would be posting from some jail if this had been us with the drugs, probabtion violations, assault x2, and now this felony charge. she had a real shot at a great career (I liked Parent Trap), now she's just a has-been. Very sad

A few thoughts: Her attorney must be a nitwit to allow her to appear dressed less than court-appropriate. Actress? - I think not - no one will insure a movie with her in it. She has become so blinded by her own celebrity that real world, rational thought is impossible. Her only vehicle for attention is bad behavior and publicity. What a waste of a career and opportunities for growing as a performer, and at her young age. Her future is likely a continued, rapid downward fall.
