Nadia is kind of annoying but in light of Casey Anthony, I would prefer the Today Show pay Nadia millions before giving Anthony one cent. I hate to think of the day that the Today Show lowers itself to interview that monster! I would listen to Octomom over her any day.

The doctor that did this invitro-fertilization should be the one paying for their upraising and medical costs, not the State of CA.

The doctor lost his license because of her. He won't be in a position to pay anything. The state should be taking a portion of the begging money she earns to repay what the state has already paid out - the million plus hospital bill for starters. She has been on welfare from day one and even after being called out on it and admitting she was on welfare, she continues to lie about it.

LIE, it is DOCUMENTED that she received a variety of aid from the State of CA, everything from aid for her troubled older children with so-called autism and ADHD (aid for ADHD ??) to her FRAUDULENT CLAIMS of DISABILITY FOR A BAD BACK DUE TO A SUPPOSED BACK INJURY for several years, all the while, she continued to get herself PREGNANT !!!!

This woman is A FRAUD, DELUSIONAL, A COMPULSIVE LIAR, A CHEAT and a total NARCISSIST !!! She ruined her parents' lives and drove them into bankruptcy too ! She DESERVES every problem and the chaotic life she now has !! She asked for it, and she GOT IT !!!!

There is nothing wrong with thrift stores and hand-me-downs. She can shop at Costco in bulk, and renting as home is her biggest expense, but since they are still kids, toss all the boys in a large room in bunk beds and the same with the girls.

Shoot, if the illegals can store 30 people in a one bedroom and survive, then I see no problem for her doing the same.

She had the kids, but unfortunately, they will be a burden on the State of CA until they are fully grown, and some of them I understand have some forms of cognitive disabilities. So the people will be taking care of them for life.

The state should have removed all these kids and put them in better home environment than what she can provide for them. It's really sad that this woman was allow to have all these kids and cannot afford their upkeep.

Hopefully they have cut and tied her tubes so she cannot have more kids.

If you do not have the money to raise a child, then you shouldn't be having them.

Her sense of entitlement allows her to believe she needs to live in a $565,000 house in the most costly area of California. She only shops at Nordstrom's and Bloomingdale's for her designer clothes. She is seen almost daily doing a dinner run for some of that famous 'organic' McDonald's and picking up individual containers of frozen yogurt for dessert. She ain't never heard of buying in bulk and it would be way above her pay grade to even consider a budge. She buys bottled water by the case, but diapers in small packages. Go figure. She's a burden now and will continue to be a burden. Her children are being raised in an atmosphere of entitlement and will continue the cycle - at least the ones that aren't in jail or too mentally and emotionally disabled due to her neglect to function in society.

I can't believe this is news, She is living off the people of California and not doing a very good job of raising her family. I feel that a person can make one mistake and should recieve help but when you just have child after child the goverment should say enough, you need to find a way of raising the kids you have and be responsible. The US Goverment has to stop the way of life that allows women to have children they can't support. If we had the rulings that goverment will help with one child but you are on your own after that women might think more before having more children they know they won't get goverment aide for. I am all for getting women getting fixed and drug tested to if they want to continue getting goverment help. I work with a women who has six kids all with different baby daddies but she gets food stamps, has her college paid for, help with her housing, all these benefits for not making good decisions. I have worked all my life single mom of two and have nver recieved help from anyone other than my family.

Totally, you could have not said it any better. I was thinking all of that just watching. I love watching the Today Show. But I am sorry, you guys have very much dissappointed me with this set up. You think you can jus throw a couple of toys out on the carpet for them.

I'm soooo glad someone finally said it. It felt as if "The Today Show" set Nadia up. I have twins and there is no way I would ever have any kind of interview with the both of them present. Whenever I have doctor appointments, I schedule them one at a time because it way too hectic to manage them both, while trying to pay attention to what the doctor is saying. I knew before the interview began that it would be like this. Any mother who has more than one child would already know this. Shame on The Today for even allowing this. They've had countless interviews with parents who can't control one child during an interview, what made them think they could have pulled this off without a hitch? Impossible and I'm sure they knew this before they proceeded.

I agree with you, too, Beth. Does no one here remember what it was like to travel with a two-year old, let alone 8 of them? And her older daughter seemed perfectly charming and well adjusted. While I don't think I'd want her as a friend, clearly Nadia has continued to work on herself (emotionally) from what I've seen of her in past interviews and she tried to make those points but Ms. Curry kept trying to back her into a corner with everything she had done wrong in her past. I thought she was particularly gracious given the stress of the show, the questions, the children, etc.

After Oprah had her on this past January, the comments board was spammed with hundreds of comments very similar in style to the ones above accusing the Today show of trying to make the octonut look bad...well too late for that, she has already made herself look like what she is...a totally incompetent mother and a sandwich short of a picnic.

But, I'm sure the Nadya team will continue to spam the boards and accuse everyone else of exposing Nadya for what she really is.

I read in the article that she made $28k last month [more than my husband and I make in a year] and that she works as a physical trainer etc. Did you read the same article?

She lives in La Habra, CA and she does have help. Numerous photos have been published of her with other adults pushing strollers and helping with the kids. What would have been the point of interviewing Nadya without the kids. The kids are what will make people feel soory for her and donate money, merchandise, maybe a house....after all, no one feels sorry for Nadya but we all feel sorry for the kids. If her life is that chaotic it's time for help from children's services.

I don't think people are throwing hate at her because she made a "different" decision. People dislike her selfish decision to bring innocent children into the world without a plan for their survival. Now, the children are the ones who will suffer when she cannot bring in the required $15K each month- because she will be unable to provide for their basic needs. Emotionally- she says that she is fine, maybe stressed about money because she is the only scapegoat- but what happens when she continuously cannot provide, her problems with the older children increase and they begin to resent not being able to lead "kid" lives because they are always taking care of others, and new problems begin to develop with the younger ones? At some point, she may break- a person can only handle so much emotional stress-especially without some sort of outside support or the support of a mate. Then, will she take that out on the children, or will they be left with a mother who cannot provide a nurturing and emotionally stable environment because she is no longer stable herself? I praise people who know what they want in life and go to great lengths to make that happen. However, it is important to look at what will be affected along the way. This is no longer an individual goal- but a wanted situation that will and already does have an impact on innocent children who cannot protect and provide for themselves. These are the types of decisions that people with a heart strongly dislike- that doesn't mean they "hate" the person who made them.

Do I believe Ms. Suleman has made the best decisions for her life or her children? Not necessarily. However, I do believe she continues to manage as best she can. You people talk about her taking from the tax payers, do you know about much money it cost the state for one child to be in foster care and your first goal is reunification. You have to provide the "whole" family with services. In order to terminate rights to a parent you have to prove they are unable to protect and raise their child. If, you terminate and the children are adopted most states have adoption subsidy, which means the state continues to pay the adoptive parents money monthly for the children. Trust me I work in child welfare and I have seen some @!$%#ty parents. I don't believe this to be the case. I think the greater harm to the children comes from the general public. People are threatening to harm your mother and hating her. In my experience in child welfare children love their parents and they internalize everything. People making hateful comments will make these children feel they are hated and a mistake. I believe children are a blessing. Plus, you can't assume that because she is under stress she will take it out on her children. What kind of assumption is that? I am to assume that a CEO beats his wife because he is under stress. People need to put themselves in check when judging the actions of others. No one is perfect; people make bad decisions. It's human nature.

I hope the best for Suleman and her family. I hope they find happiness and peace.

I changed the station too. It was so pathetic and a cold set-up. Even Ann was condescending and lacked compassion. She appeared to try to give a crap when she placed one of the children on her lap, but there were a dozen kids on that set and under the age of 10. Anyone who is a mother would know better than that, cause there's no way kids of that group can sit still. It is impossible, ask any teacher. Not to mention, several of her kids are special needs, which magnifies the situation. Shame on the Today Show, I will forever watch The Early Show.

i think the point is that they wanted to show the reality of trying to handle all those children, Nadia keeps saying she is in control and everything is fine, this was a good example of the reality of daily living with this crew, and she did not even have all of them there!

Why is OK that the Duggars have a reality show and Kate has a reality show with their huge brood. Is it OK because the Duggars are married and Kate was married when she gave birth to 6 babies after having 2 already. it is the same thing they wanted huge payouts reality shows give so they could support their families but everyone is fine with that because we know who daddy is.

Also I doubt really she gets food stamps. She couldn't if she made $28,000 last month she would not qualify.

I hope the world gets over it, stops laughing at her and gives those kids a fighting chance and not be mean to them or their mother. She hired the PR Agency Killeen and Furtney before she left the hospital. She had an internet beg site up (she takes all major credit cards) by the time the first two were home.

She says she doesn't want a reality show but she has made 4 pilots - the first one for the USA was rejected and she then went on to make one for England, Germany and Australia and they were vigorously rejected. Funny thing, no one wants to see a bunch of out of control, semi-feral older kids and 8 sad faced, vacant eyed babies that don't interact with her or with each other. The public doesn't want to see a woman with so much plastic surgery that she would melt if next to a hot stove. She denies it, but her mother sold the family photo album and there are dozens of 'before' pictures - you know the ones, regular lips and a wide nose and no cheekbones. She lies about no tummy tuck - after 4 singletons, a twin and then the octuplet birth she expects the public to believe that giant skin apron just disappeared. The above is just a few of the reasons she doesn't have a reality show. She has been trying from day one to get set up so someone else can raise the children that she 'would stop her life for'.

But, hey, keep drinking that kool-aid, that's what she expects. Most of us are wise to her ways by now and nothing is secret on the internet and the words came out of her mouth.

When Kate of "Kate plus 8" or formaly "John and Kate plus 8 "finally gets her show canceled how will she support her lavish lifestyle and that fancy house? John works construction now lives in a small apartment ....his lavish lifestyle has ended but he survived. And I think John and kate lived way more lavish then Octomom ever has and they are more fame hungry then Otomom ever was but people act like that was OK because they were married when they had all those babies. Well we see how that all worked out..they are divorced now and Kate is still pimping out the kids to make money.

And she did it without having to whip her diapered sperm donor in her kids play area. Or box any d-list freaks. Kate doesn't keep her non-dry-wall eating kids in caged squalor or lie about being on welfare for a dozen years.
