This is a nice heart warming story. It sure is good to read something like this. Both of those babies are adorable. Both sets of parents, and the grandparents are blessed. The babies will have so much love.
Why would they have the same name? One's a boy and the other's a girl. Both of the women were married (surprise!) so their last names would be different.
Thank you for this wonderful story. With so much bad news these days, it made my spirits soar to see and read about these two beautiful young women with their newborns. What a great family story. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us!
Tarpongirl16 May 12 must be the day!! Our daughter was born May 12, 1998 and my wife's sister had given birth around 50 minutes earlier that same day. We were in Missouri at the time and my sister-in-law in Tennessee. When I called my wife's family my mother-in-law speechless!
What a great story, but have to tell you one of our own. My nephew's wife and her sister were born on the same day 3 years apart. Now their little girls were born on the same day in 2010. What a happy miracle!!!!!
I think this is a very beautiful gift that Our Father the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob have given both of these families, plus it will give them an experience to see how a boy and a girl are raised and cared for. I wish them all the best and May these children be loved by all and have the favor of the Father that is in Heaven and may they both have the gift of Laughter and True Godly Love and humility and be generous and kind . I pray that our Father blessed them with divine health, peace and prosperity and Wisdom and decernment. Shalom
My sister and i delivered our kids on the same day as well 2 years ago on July 12!! I was 2 weeks overdue with my first and she was 4 days overdue with her 2nd. They were 2 hours 58 min apart. It was nice to have her there!! Funny part was that people always asked if we planned it..... pretty sure there's no way to plan this type of thing naturally!! It definately is a miracle. Very happy for these sisters, i know i will never forget my experience and will cherish the memories!! Congrats!
My sister and I also did this 42 years ago. She gave birth to her son at 11:30am, and I gave birth to my 5 week early son at 11:30pm. Hers weighed 8'6 and mine weighed 5'6! We were put in the same hospital room.
This is a great story! My sister and I were pretty much in the same situation, due just two weeks apart. We sort of hoped she would be a week late, and I would be a week early, so we could have "cousin-twins". Unfortunately, she ended up two weeks early, and I ended up two weeks late, so they're 6 weeks apart! But my mother was quite the celebrity at work! She worked at the hospital where both are babies were born, and all the other nurses were quite jealous of her double dose of grandkids!
I don't care how common it is. I think it is awesome and exciting each time. lol my daughter in law and her sister were pregnant at the same time. 4 weeks aparts. My daughter in law got sick and had to deliver 5 weeks early. she had a tiny lil 4lb1oz 17in baby. 3 days later her sis gave birth to a lil 181/2 6lb boy. Both girls were in same hospital at the same time. I feel like I got a double dose of grandkids. lol I was kind of amazed but 2 of her other sisters were also prego for a bit together. so all 4 gave birth boy girl then 2 more boys. wow lucky grandma.
Yeah my aunts (sisters) did the same they both deliverd there sons on the same day on Memorial day weekend 26 years ago. My mom and the rest of the family had to run back and forth to both hospitals. LOL
My sister and I also had our first born on the same day...She was overdue and I was premature...both babies born with in hours of eachother . She had a boy in the afternoon and I had a girl that night ..We are the only girls in a family of 8 children ...This was 35 years ago...TRUE STORY!
I believe it. My sister & I had our babies the same day, neither induced and they were due 2 weeks apart. They are 25 years old now and are in a band together. We always called them the twin cousins.
My cousin and I were also born on the same day, nearly 33 years ago. My grandmother says that when she got the call about my Aunt being in labor, she grabbed both the gift for her and the gift for my mother to bring to the hospital. She said she just had a sense that my mom would be there soon enough. My cousin was over due and I was early. He is six hours older than I, and the same doctor delivered us both. Our moms shared their hospital room and we have a clipping from the local newspaper with our picture and little article. The newspaper even sent someone to "cover" our first birthday party! Just like this story, my mom and her sister seemed to do everything together. They too are very close in age, and in the picture in the newspaper they could almost pass as twins.
Omg its as if ur telling my story...lol..but without the newpaper paart...lol...same hospital , doctor ..same recovery room...in fact she was the 1st voice I heard in the dark as they wheeled me in the room...All I heard was ...What you get? ( back in those days we didn't have ultra sounds to determine the sex of the babies...lol...) It was really special to have my one and only sister there to share the moment and memories.....at the time we were inseperable..and we both looked like twins too!...LOL....
Yes, my friend's mom and aunt had their babies on the same day, ones water broke and the other called the Ambulance and by time it got there the other ones water broke, they rode in the same Ambulance together, one getting to lay down and the other had to sit on the side. LOL This was 40+ years ago though.
My sister and I had our "Twin Cousins" 25 years ago. My sister was due 3 weeks before me with her first. I was having my 3rd. They were born the same day an hour and a half apart, my son came 1st and then she had her daughter. We also shared the same room at the hospital. We have been calling them the "Twin Cousins" ever since.
Nice news for a change!! Congratulations to the proud parents and best wishes for both the babies. What a nice story!

Rarely such miracles take place.Wud b nice if both the kids have the same name.
Why would they have the same name? One's a boy and the other's a girl. Both of the women were married (surprise!) so their last names would be different.
Their first names could be uni-sex like Angel, or Alex, or Tracy. There's a ton of uni-sex names.
Rarely such miracles take place.Wud b nice if both the kids have the same name.
This is great!!I hope the babies are healthy in every-way.
 That is awesome!!!!

Big deal, my cousin and I (first for my mom and aunt) were born 23 hours apart and delivered by the same doc. 31 years ago. Not uncommon!
That is so awesome congrats!
