He does most of the outside house work such as maintaining the lawn and such, but as far as inside house work, SOMETIMES he will empty/load the dish washer, if I ask him too. But I don't mind too much. I do not object to my female role in the house hold.
My husband does it all ! cooking, cleaning and it's not because I'm lazy cause I'm not it's because he's a "neat freak" ... whatever I do he's right behind me ... even making the bed in the morning ... sometimes it's extremely fustrating, especially if I have planned to make dinner ... if I leave them for even an instant he jumps right in !!! ughhhh !
I wish I even got an ounce if that from my husband. He does little to nothing to help out. I am lucky if he puts his dirty clothes in the laundry basket.
My husband will do any chore that I ask him to do, but will do nothing on his own... that includes yard work, dishes, household chores and laundry. Growing up he was not required to do anything, so he doesn't do anything now either. Very frustrating! Mom's -please teach your son's to do the same chores that your daughters do -it will save their wife's lots of frustration in the future <3
I should add that he does all the cooking, but that is only because he is the pickiest eater ever! lol, I laugh and say his pallet is like a box of 8 crayola crayons, and mine is a box of 64! -so he won't eat anything I make.
Mine will help me out if I ask him to without a word about it....But since I am so picky about how dishes are put away or how laundry is folded, it is just easier to do it myself....As far as putting his dirty clothes up, I retrained him, if he wants clean clothes he needs to put them in the basket or they do not get washed...I have kids to pick up after and not going to pick up after him.....He works ten hour days and I do not work outside the home...I feel that it is my job to tend to the house and we both tend to the kids.....
My husband is the best!! He not only does dishes everyday, and laundry, feeds the dogs, cleans the pool, mows the lawn, and makes me breakfast, he also will surprise me with dinner a lot! Mind you, he is my fourth and final husband!
So, what do you do for him?
My 2nd Husband is absolutely wonderful in this area. It's about "us" in our marriage and taking care of our beautiful 3 story 2400 sq.ft home. My husband did chores as a boy and teenager and I think perhaps this contributed to his attitude. I'm very thankful for him.
