Ditto on how did two children get out of their house without parents noticing? And has no one taught them that stealing is wrong? Makes you wonder about the "wholesome Heartland" and all that!
Little monster dumbasses! They should be whipped till they can't sit down! Spoiled little brats!!! Ick...ick...ick... I feel sorry for the poor little goat! Thank God these devils didn't get him!
ummmm..... I am guessing you are messing around in this post? You can't honestly hate life that much to post a comment such as this, can you? If so, there are ways of dealing with the feelings you are having....help is out there.
Maybe you didn't read the story correctly. The girls were wearing the footie pj's. Like the others, I too am questioning how these kids got out of the without the parents noticing??
LOL. Yeah the footie PJs were a bad choice. In Minnesota it's easier to disguise a goat if you put big 80s hair on it with pegged jeans and lumberjack boots. Then it would have looked like one of the natives.
Where were the parents? Why were they not reprimanded or fined for allowing or not knowing that their young children to be out so late and in a dangerous spot?
Yes it was dangerous for them to be walking along a busy road at night.
I bet that if they were hit by a car, and their little bodies were crushed, and the goat was turned into goat stew, and their internal organs were mashed up and mixed in with goat guts, and their brains were leaking out of their crushed skulls, and all that was left was their fly- blown remains, flattened in the roadway, it wouldn't be so funny and cute.
I'm guessing the parents were probably fast asleep, and the 7 year old ought to be big enough to unlock a door by herself. So stop worrying about who's to blame, it's just a cute story! :)
SERIOUSLY PEOPLE it's a cute little story about 2 cute kids. We read about war, child abuse, animal abuse,murder...give it a rest. 2 little kids snuck out in footie PJ's to steal a goat-IT'S FUNNY. That does not mean they have bad parents or they bad kids-THEY ARE KIDS!!!!! laugh a little when you can:)
@ Helen - I totally agree with you. People are blowing this out or proportion. The kids felt bad for the goat and wanted to take care of it so they snuck out to "save" the goat. It is hilarious. The fact that they did it in their footed pjs makes it even better.
People are so wrapped with all the evil in the media that when a funny story comes around they forget to laugh. Lighten up America!
I am with Art on this one. This is NOT funny. I do not think that the kids should be prosecuted through the courts for this one. But, they do need to be reprimanded. Not only are you people making light of a crime, but they could have been severely injured, or worse, if the wrong person came across them.
When I was about 5 years I woke up early didn't want to get in trouble waking anybody up so I went out to the gazebo in the yard and played jax... Until the police should up looking for a lost child. Sometimes in kids brain they do stupid things, thinking they are good things. Teach the lesson, so they make a better choice next and trust they will be telling there kids about the midnight adventure.
Ummm, your kids have never, ever pulled a fast one on YOU?? My youngest daughter was a mini-Houdini, and I am a great mom...scary thought, but a determined child, especially with a sibling partner-in-crime, is capable of mind-bending things! These parents need to share the twins-hockey-no-money story and teach the young ones a lesson in honesty, private property, and STAYING IN BED WHERE WE PUT YOU! LOL!! Praise God no one was injured, the neighbor didn't mind sticking his/her nose where it didn't belong, and Mom and Dad now know to double-check beds!!
What you never snuck outta the house? Kudos to the neighbor, a giggle for the girls and a nitro pills for the parents near heart attacks! Smile people....they are just babies being babies!
Bet mom and dad do a bed check on these two until they're 20!
Hee, hee hee! That is funny! Hopefully they get over their wicked ways before they reach their majority. LOL
Love it!
I could see my 4 & 6 year olds doing this!! Kids are too crafty (and cute!) for their own good sometimes!
Read this story and all I could do is laugh and think "bless their little hearts".
So cute!
But I would be upset about the time of night and the close proximity to the highway, moreso than the actual goat-napping.
BTW, how did two little girls get so far from their home so late at night without their parents noticing that they were gone?

Yes, what a depressing story.

How was it living in their closet if they never made it home with the goat?
It wasn't living in the girls' closet. That was their cover story for why they were walking the goat at night.
I want to know why someone would make a goat wear footie pajamas. Kinda sick, if you ask me.
Maybe you didn't read the story correctly. The girls were wearing the footie pj's. Like the others, I too am questioning how these kids got out of the without the parents noticing??
ummm...it was a JOKE....ummmm....you know, to picture the goat wearing footie paja....oh, never mind.

I'm so glad they didn't criminalize these children. Make it a learning experience and move on.

Just saying.
You should produce this into a horror movie!

Next thing you know they will be robbing banks.
Everything was forgiven, as long as they weren't trying to sell lemonade without a permit...
This may be funnier than the actual story! Good job!
LOL! Now that's funny! (And yet, so sad!)

How do you know they are cute kids? They might be hideous looking.
I think it's a story about a couple of juvenile delinquent runaways stealing someone's property. Today, its a goat..give it a few years....
