I am so thankful for people such as this that don't think animals are disposable. What a rough start on life for this little puppy but hopefully she will live a long and healthy/happy life. In the picture that shows her walking she actually looks like she's smiling!

This woman is a blessing to not just the Bully breeds but to any animal in trouble. This puppy is so beautiful looking and so sweet. Yes the world needs to know that bullies and pit bulls are truly great dogs if given love, and obedience training they are the most loyal dogs. I have a rescued pit bull who lived most of her life at the shelter. She is a wonderful dog she was dumped with her litter mates and her looks prevented her from getting adopted. please give pit bulls a chance when adopting they are needing homes and should be given a chance at life!
I'm happy the puppy got a chance to live because someone cared enough to try and save her. My roommate's dog got parvo when he was very young, and the vet said it might not be possible to save him. My roommate disagreed and paid for the (very expensive) treatment. Charlie got through the parvo and he's strong and healthy now. Just goes to show what a little care can do!
It should be euthanized for being a pit bull. Now instead of one useless dog, someone's kids will be killed by what will eventually turn into a viscious monster.

I found over 500,000 news stories for pit bull attacks in under 5 seconds on Google. Many were cases where the pit bulls killed someone. The thing about this breed is that they can seem nice and loving and then out of the blue snap and attack and kill a person. They don't have to be severely abused to snap and turn viscious like all other breeds do. They should ALL be killed off, every last one of them.

Z1P2- I will pray for you. I have a pit bull whom I love dearly. I only hope that you can realize that your closed mindedness to such a beautiful breed is a hinderance to yourself and others in society who think the same as you. They have a bum rap and yes some are agressive but not all. I am more afraid of the two little dogs down the road from me that dont stop barking than my dog. I know I will never change your view because you just seem like you might be someone who isnt open to other view points but I would only ask you instead of typing Pit Bull attacks in your google type in good pit bull stories and read some of them. It might give you some idea on why others love this breed so much. Good luck.

Nice story. We love our dogs. They are part of our family.
With all of our abilities why can't humans have the same drive and grit as an animal? Answer. We do but many choose to give up. This pup, as well as the foster parents, showed what NOT giving up can do. I urge all who read this to take this lesson to heart.
She is too cute. I love bully smiles, they are the best! I just hope her, and all other bullies out there that need homes, get GOOD ones with DECENT people, and those who know just how much activity these dogs need.
Now if we can place all of the idiots overbreeding, and/or not properly breeding their dogs, in jail, or fine them THOUSANDS of dollars, that would be awesome

Stories like this restore some of my faith in the "human condition." The monster that had put the little puppy in the trash bag to begin with needs to have his a$$ kicked up between his eyeballs, however. Thank you, Erica, and all those involved with helping this precious little pup.

That's the problem with Americans. They don't want to work 'there' or do that 'kind of work'. Go to work, so I, as a taxpayer don't have to support your sorry a$% when you're getting welfare, food stamps or WIC or whatever it's called! I do agree with the get your arse to work policy you have and those who choose handouts over working, however many great Americans have used some sort of assistance to pull themselves off their feet. Many still rely on assistance. It's not easy living just above the poverty line alone and I do believe that those on assistance have dreams of a better tomorrow when they CAN say they got off the gov't rolls.

What with all the hand outs and state pay days to nearly everyone in Europe, the U.K., Canada, etc.? free housing, free medical care, free this, free that, at an average 51% tax rate? Seems hardly "free". The Euro zone is broke and you throw stones? Get your own house in order, then America won't have to prop up your banks, we won't have the extra debt load and can use the money at home.

Even though this is a story about a puppy, in a bigger sense, it's a story about "The Power of LOVE." LOVE and those that express it, as was expressed for this little puppy, can overcome many hardships.
We in America seem to be a "Throw-away society, especially with human beings." Look how the Homeless are treated as pariah in many places, instead of a Brother or Sister in need.
May we see the little child in people in need, and in LOVE reach out and help them, just like this woman did for that sweet little puppy.. :)

Most all of my dogs over the years have been rescues of one sort or another, including the 2 Danes I have now. What this thing is doing outside of Save Mart or whatever isn't any different than what the Amish do here in Ohio.
I know first hand the difference that love can make in an animal's life, especially dogs... it IS like medicine to them, makes all the difference. I'm in a bad spot now, foreclosed on and all.... but, it's pay day and I'm going to do something for the Dolly Foundation; it's too hard to find honest, worthy causes where you trust where your money's going and this one I have no second thoughts about.
I'm sorry, I know this is off the subject. The Amish do treat animals like crap, right? Puppy mills is really all I know...

I was feeling kind of down today in spite of it being Friday. But when I saw the picture of this puppy walking it just brought a huge smile to my face. Bless this ladies heart for what she did it's amazing. Sad to say but there are a few people I'd love to harm and not think twice about it but a poor defenseless animal never could I bring myself to abuse or mistreat in anyway.

Every furry family member I have had in my life, has been dumped or abandoned and they are special to me and I loved them dearly. Our current furry family member was an abandoned kitten and that was 13 years ago and Chester has brought so much love to our lives and he is a sweetheart.
I could never do anything like put an animal in a plastic bag and abandon them. Erica, you truly are a special person!

I tend to save animals also; never buy; always adopt. My newest kitty 'blue moon' was a feral kitten. What an addition he is to my furry bunch! I am blessed to have him, he puts a smile on my face every day!! xo

This is why folks need to do research and if they want a pure bred they should actually go to the breeders home and meet the sire and bitch OR adopt a shelter/pound dog. We have to put people like this out of business!!!

I agree Marlene. I have raised several pitbulls in my life and would never give them up. In fact my recent one is sitting next to me whining...he wants more loving. If I had my own home and a big fenced in area....this is what I would like to do next with my life. Gotta work out the plan and present if to hubby when he comes home.
