Tell the cops to check out the local strip joints, she might be working to get that money she owes. Throwing the ring shows her emotional side, she was a woman ruled by her irrational emotions; what’s up with all you crazy woman? All i can say is, hope for the best, and prepare for the worst. Throwing a ring sounds like something a stripper would do. Maybe my tip will cash in that 13k.
She looks and sounds like a vindictive beach to me, an immature brat so to speak.
Trying to live beyond her means in an effort to make an impression on others in worries about what they would think about her if they find out that she isn't really 'all that', and yet not see that her own actions are cause to think less of her.
That said, I wish her well in coming home again. And hopes that whatever experience she has been through helps turn her life around for the better.
You need to lash out at others because YOUR life is so miserable. Maybe if you found something productive to do that assisted others in some way you would be happier. When all you do is act, speak, and write negatively against others, you will get the same in return. When you begin to act, speak, and write positively, you will gain positive feedback and a more positive, loving life.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victim and her family right now. The longer it goes the less likely she will be found alive. It would be such a wonderful Thanksgiving story to find her and find her alive.
KiloByte:
Maybe she helped buy the engagement ring. I don't watch People's Court so I don't know the story. I would NEVER subject myself to that show. I hated being in Court [I was a paralegal and doing Small Claims Court for unpaid legal fees for my boss] and I wasn't even invested in the outcome! Maybe she wanted to keep the engagement ring l[ike Kim Kardashian] or maybe when she threw it at him it was lost which is why the judge ordered her to pay for half.
I might be wrong and don't mean to get anyone upset but I get the impression that whereas people in other countries are kidnapped for ransom people in the US are kidnapped just because some idiot wants to have fun killing them.
It's truly bizarre how some folks would rather kill than ask for money.
Rim you are FREE to choose whether you believe in God or not but keep your mythical comments to yourself.
crystal there was never a Santa Clause by the definition that most teach their kids. The teaching of such a being is wrong by any TRUE religious standard. Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Valentines Day etc are all about one thing.....MONEY !!!!
Was Santa Claus a mythical, magical elf that snuck down chimneys and had flying reindeer? No.
Saint Nicholas, the person that our modern day Santa is based on, was a real person, who actually gave "presents" to poor children by slipping through unlocked windows and placing the gifts(usually apples or oranges) in the drying socks that hung by the fireplace.
There is historical basis for every myth and legend out there. You just have to do your research.
I personally teach my kids the story of the TRUE Santa Claus(Saint Nicholas) and they do not believe in Santa in the manner that most of their friends do.
I don't believe that at all...it's something people say to try to make everything seem ok...meanwhile, a person commits suicide every 40 seconds....plenty of people cannot handle what God dishes....
As for the engagement ring, in most states you have to return it. It basically boils down to the fact that if the wedding is off, so is the engagement. That includes a ring that is only given on the contingent that you will get married. It's not a regular gift.
She was lucky to only have to pay for half of it.
(But the article says she gave him back the ring, so I don't understand why he would get money and the ring. Basically you should get the ring or the money back.)
As for the fishy statement by the mom, I don't get it. Is there some place that she told the police about, but they won't search, or will she not tell the police about the place?
I'd like to clarify something about the idea that God never gives us more than we can handle. That scripture - I Corinthians 10:13 - applies to Christians, not to people in general.
"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."
Taken in full context, the point is that a Christian never faces anything that they cannot handle WITH GOD'S HELP. Specifically, this is a reference to our being tempted by sin - we can resist and reject sinful behavior by turning to God - we always have another option and don't have to pursue the sinful behavior. Sadly, many Christians misuse this scripture and I can understand why many non-believers get their feathers ruffled. It really does come off as condescending when stated in a situation such as this one.
Believers - please know scripture and use it wisely. Not doing so makes us all look foolish.
As for this missing woman, whatever the circumstances, I hope she is returned to her family soon. This is a horrible way for a family to mark the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, which will always be tainted by this event if it turns out bad. And, there are two little kids who need their mom.
That scripture - I Corinthians 10:13 - applies to Christians, not to people in general.
Taken in full context, the point is that a Christian never faces anything that they cannot handle WITH GOD'S HELP.
I only wish you had the ability to reflect on what kind of garbage you are trying to pull off here. In the first statement above, it would logically follow that all the starving people in the world have to do to not starve to death would be to become a Christian. Only an idiot would believe that. In the second statement, you attempt to redeem yourself by alluding that God is apparently powerless (or just doesn't care) to fix starvation, but for some reason does have an interest in helping Christians through a personal crisis. Wow, thanks Mr. Omnipotent! Tell you what God, I'll deal with my personal crisis by myself if you promise to go help keep starving children from dying. Capiche?
Future History - we have freewill, and there are consequences for your actions.
I know the liberal nanny state would like to change both of those, but it's still reality.
There have been famines, wars and plagues. Humans have been able to handle all of those.
And the capacity to handle things is nearly limitless. That's just how amazing people are.
As for this arguement that we should have a God that makes it so you can never get hurt, or starve if you don't eat - then what would be the purpose of even existing? There would be nothing worth doing. No need to plant crops. No need to plan, or even to be careful where you walk.
We live in a universe of consequences. One action creates a reaction. If you don't plan ahead, you might not have anything to eat.
.
But back to the article - why can't the mom say where she thinks she is?
I still don't understand.
I would be more sympathetic, but what is she hiding - and why?
Future, while I'm not overly religious myself, I'm surprised you haven't caught more grief over your statements. I think you have good points, based on some of these statements, as you alluded to, if only this girl were a good Christian girl she would be home now with her family. Everyone knows good christians NEVER get into trouble or are targeted by evil non-christians. If/when God (for those of you who believe) does decide to involve himself in worldly affairs, then all these evil non-christians will be set straight and this kind of stuff won;t happen. Until then, go out and thank your local police departments and the military for ensuring you have the freedoms you do and the right to make stupid statements on these forums.
AMEN! Everyone is so quick to blame God--because that's the easy way out. What they don't get is that in denying Him---they acknowledge Him. I can promise this...I would far rather believe and be wrong in the end than to consider the alternative.....
And the capacity to handle things is nearly limitless.
LOL - except for the 15 million+/- that die every year. Just because the human race survives, doesn't mean that enormous groups of humans don't suffer a miserable death by starvation! If YOU (Ryan) were born to a poor family in a starving nation, you would not be spewing such gibberish.
really? A woman is missing/ possibly dead and you think it's the appropriate time to start a Theological Debate??? Who really gives a crap that the first commenter believes in God?!
Apparently some of you didn't actually read A.L.S.'s entire post (which was not the original post she was referring to). She specifically pointed out that the point was about temptation/sin not calamities. She also pointed out that fellow believers should be careful how they use this phrase because of that reason.
The CAPACITY to handle things is not the same as handling things.
I get that you want a world without consequence for your actions. Where a magical Gov't will swoop in and fix everyone's pain. Where you don't have to set aside food for tommorrow, or limit the number of kids in your house by not having sex unprotected when you can't even feed the kids you already have.
Where you can do anything you want, and someone else will have to pay to fix it. But that's just not reality.
As for someone offering a kind word to the mom, even if it is religious :
I just don't get how someone else praying hurts YOU.
I don't come after you for not praying.
So I certainly hope that you at least want this woman found alive and safe.
How you express that hope is going to be based on your personal beliefs.
You don't believe in God - that's your business. But is that how you want to be defined?
We sure see alot of anti-religious comments on Newsvine. Wouldn't it be better to be for something instead of against something?
Ryan, ever occur to you that the magical nanny state just might be god's way of helping?
This reminds me of an old joke. A man is in his house in the middle of a flood. Cop comes by in the car and says get in. Guy refuses, says god will help him. Flood waters get higher, a neighbor comes by in a boat and says get in. Guy refuses saying god will help him. Flood waters get so high guy is now on top of the roof. Helicopter comes by and the guys offer to rescue him. Guy refuses says god will help him. Guy drowns in the flood. After getting to heaven he asks god why god didn't help him. God says "I sent a car, a boat and a helicopter what more did you want?".
The CAPACITY to handle things is not the same as handling things.
Are you implying that it takes religious faith to have capacity to handle things? I think you are - and that is truly sad, that without faith you would be unable to cope with life and be a good citizen. I have been able to do so without faith for my entire life.
I get that you want a world without consequence for your actions. Where a magical Gov't will swoop in and fix everyone's pain. Where you don't have to set aside food for tommorrow, or limit the number of kids in your house by not having sex unprotected when you can't even feed the kids you already have.
Talk about off-topic. Assume much?
I just don't get how someone else praying hurts YOU.
Who said I was hurt? Being offended is hardly the same thing as being hurt - and the notion that nonbelievers are incapable of rejecting "sin" is completely offensive.
So I certainly hope that you at least want this woman found alive and safe.
What kind of ogre would not want for this? Why would you even have a doubt about this?
How you express that hope is going to be based on your personal beliefs.
Hope, whether it be through faith or otherwise, does nothing to bring about positive results. The problem with religious folks is that they think their faith actually is doing something to bring about positive results. When it doesn't happen, they invariably fall back on the "god works in mysterious ways" excuse. When something good does surface, they lay claim to it as a function of faith. It's pathetic.
You don't believe in God - that's your business. But is that how you want to be defined?
Actually, yes. That is a huge part of who I am, and I am not the least bit afraid to engage anyone on why I am a nonbeliever.
We sure see alot of anti-religious comments on Newsvine. Wouldn't it be better to be for something instead of against something?
We also see a lot of pro-religious comments. It's an open forum - apparently you would like to close it up to meet your personal tastes. Ain't gonna happen.
Not sure of your intentions with this comment, but it comes across as rude and crass. If that's not what you meant, I'd be more clear next time you comment-just saying...
And that comment tells all we need to know about you. You're an ignorant, self-righteous a-hole who thinks that they know everything about everybody. Crawl back under your rock.
I used to live in a trailor park. What does that make me? There are several reasons that people live in trailor parks, the stereotypical judgement is not always true. Trashy, worthless people come in all shapes and sizes and are from various locations.
I'm pretty sure that I would go and kick the door down, if I had good information on where my missing child "might" be....but I don't know the full story. You're in my prayers.
Ever stop to think that maybe she's afraid to go because she's afraid her daughter might be dead? No parent wants to be the one to find their child dead. She should probably send the police to check it out.
so.... if she is dead wouldnt you want to know? tell the police, its their job anyway. alo something doesnt add up here, a bar tender, single mother of 3, fighting over 2500.00 and drives a hummer......
Hmmmmm, you think? Lol. Hearing her mother say she thinks she knows where she might be and not telling the police kinda says it all. Sounds like another dysfunctional family from Florida.....they gotta stop drinking that swamp water! I bet casey anthony knows where she is.......Hmmmmm...
If you read the article, she gave the police a big clue: waterford. Wow, so many haters. this country is in big trouble. hates a plaenty on the political blogs, but on one about a missing mother of three?
I'm with you. The brother looks like a good-sized guy. Grab a few of this friends and check it out. If I really had a reason to believe someone I knew was being held hostage or something, the law wouldn't stop me from pursuing it albeit necessary to be smart and careful (i.e., I'd take along that concealed weapon the mom was talking about!).
my thoughts.....drives a humvee, going on TV for personal gratification...suing over rings. Some bad karma for living the life of the self absorbed.
Hope she is OK though....but I don't think this will end up being about a car jacking, or like act of violence/kidnapping. it will be a continuation of the self absorbed tendencies.
oldman: telling the police she got a one word text - waterford - is NOT a big clue. A clue maybe, but not much of one. Picture this, you are a resident of waterford and the cops come kicking in your door because a mom says her missing daughter is in the neighborhood. A bit more information might be helpful here, please don't kicking in doors just yet based on what has been divulged here.
my thoughts.....drives a humvee, going on TV for personal gratification...suing over rings. Some bad karma for living the life of the self absorbed.
Hope she is OK though....but I don't think this will end up being about a car jacking, or like act of violence/kidnapping. it will be a continuation of the self absorbed tendencies.
God gives people more than they can handle all the time...why else would someone commit suicide???? Lots of weak sick people out there...if God is answering prayers he's saying NO A LOT!
Even if I were scared to find my child dead, that wouldn't stop me from bursting into the home of the SOB who got her. In fact it would be more incentive to kick the door down..... while holding my AR-15 rifle!
Yeah, yeah you are not supposed to take the law into your own hands but all reason goes out the window when it's your own kin.
Sounds fishy to me as well. I wonder if she "staged" this herself. The ex is not a suspect, and it just leads to so many questions.... we'll see how this turns out. My money is on she magically appears with a heck of a story
Wow Really wombat. If it really tells you tons why didn't you write much? I can't believe how insensitive people can be. Wait a minute, yes I can believe it. Been reading this blogs for too long.
My prayers are with the family of the missing young lady. May she be back with you all for Thanksgiving. God bless.
The folks who are overly concerned with the type of car this woman drives, just know that there are numerous ways to drive an expensive looking car without paying that much. Including but not limited to buying at auction, buying a "totaled" car from an insurance company and if you have an auto body mechanic friend he does the body/mechanical work for cheap. An autobody friend of mine bought a 2009 Mercedes that was caught in a hail storm for about $3,400.00 from an insurance company that had it down as "totaled". Did the body work and sold it for a small fortune.
In my case, my fiance passed away and his family gave me his Navigator which is sitting in my driveway because I can't bear the thought of driving it because I find the smells of his mild cologne, sunflower seeds and Gatorade the way he left it almost a year ago comforting and if I drove it then it might air/fade out faster than I can handle. I also wear the diamond engagement ring he gave me and there is no missing that. I don't have any money and I didn't come across this stuff in any sinister fashion.
As much as this story has missing holes and sounds odd, let's please pray for the safe return of this woman to her children.
Dominic-2029336, I couldn't agree with you more with what who ate my soup said. How insensitive and degrading can you be? I just hope and pray that they find her alive and well and to reunited with her family. Prayers are with her whole family, especially her children.
who ate my soup... I believe you are the one who did not read the story. Although we are all entitled to our opinions, some things are better left unsaid. The mother said that it was NOT her daughter's idea to go on the show.
Maybe the fact that she didn't end the relationship, it ended because he was an abusive alcoholic was her reasoning for not wanting to return a gift. She may have be ashamed because she is a private person who had be made to discuss her personal business on NATIONAL TELEVISION.
Because we don't all the facts we shouldn't pass judgment. Prayer, hope and or help is what you should be offering not your negative comments.
Gena I'll say most of what you say is true, however this girl made all this happen. She dated the guy, she kept the ring, she went on the show. No one can force you to go on a TV show.
Maybe this guy didn't show his TRUE colors until she was pregnant and then she tried to make the best of it. Sometimes it just doesn't work and better to find that out before you marry than 72 day after [couldn't help the dig at Kim K]. As long as she is a good mother and takes care of her children I could care less if she is married or single. And just because she is a bartender does NOT mean she is less of a person! She isn't on welfare...SHE IS WORKING.
Maybe you're just jealous that YOU can't get a hot woman like her to pay any attention to you?!
She was subpoenaed because she didnt give the ring back. Don't get married, give the ring back, didnt want any attention? Give the ring back. No marry, no ringy. lol
crystal In a small claims case you CANNOT be forced to go to court. If you don't go the judgement will be against you but again you cannot be forced to go to small claims court and there is no jail time for not going.
CRI investigator I truly hope you aren't one because otherwise you would know small claims isn't like District or Superior Court where you DO have to go if subpoenaed.
crystal..no....that would be called debtors prison, we don't have one of those in the US. If you don't appear, they automatically issue a judgement against you and the person you owe money to can legally go after your wages, put a lien on any property you may own..in other words, use the court system to collect the money.
So , when my ex went to small claims court and I got served and the paperwork specifically stated that if I didn't appear, a warrant would be issued for my arrest-the judge that issued those papers was lying?
Good to know-it wouldn't be the first time he paid off an "upholder of the law"...
crystal...you specifically said "it depends on the amount"..the amount owed does not send you to jail. However, contempt of court by not appearing can.
It makes no difference in this case. You can't be forced to come on a court TV show. She could have easily said no and dealt with this in a real small claims court. But she went on TV and that was her choice she certainly wasn't forced.
Minnesota. Failure to appear is the issue that was raised. If you are sued in any court-even TV court-you have to appear. You do NOT have to agree to be aired, but you do have to appear.
So no, she wasn't forced to be on TV. Maybe a part of her wanted people to see him for what he really was, but like most users and abusers, he put on a good show. But she did have to appear.
That is no excuse for a judge to call her-or him-an idiot. That makes it personal. When a judge takes a personal investment in a case, it makes them biased, and they cannot make an objective ruling.
No, you don't have to appear. This isn't a real small claims court. It's a form of arbitration.
Look at it this way. Judge Judy is filmed in Los Angeles. Do you really think they can force somebody from Florida to fly all the way there to appear for a small claims proceeding? No. The parties have to agree to appear there otherwise they settle it in a real small claims court in Florida.
In order to file to appear on People's Court you HAVE TO DROP YOUR CURRENT CASE. There is no way he would do that if he knew she didn't have to show up.
WOW! I feel like I'm watching a dog chase its tail. The girl DID NOT have to go on national TV. It specifically states at the beginning of the show that "The participants AGREED to appear", therefore all of that "she was forced" crap goes out the window!
But he can't unilaterally decide that they are going to settle this in People's Court. He can't just subpoena her to appear in this show. She has to agree to go on the show beforehand. It may not have been the woman's idea to go on the show but she had a choice not to. She could have settled this in a real small claims court. Instead she either wanted the money (they pay the judgement) or the publicity.
The Peoples Court is a TV SHOW NOT A REAL COURT!!! The participants agree to drop their "real" lawsuit based on what this PRETEND JUDGE DECIDES!!! The subpoenae argument is nonsense!
Gena, for god's sake why wouldn't she return a ring to an abusive alcoholic so he would leave her alone? And nobody made her air her private business on national tv, she chose to do this.
If she had given him the ring back she wouldn't have been sued for the ring. If she hadn't agreed to have this arbitrated on national tv when she didn't give the ring back she wouldn't have had to appear on tv, only in small claims.
She did give the ring back. He just didn't catch it. She paid for half of the ring because she threw it, making her partially responsible for it becoming lost. He didn't get reimbursed for the other half because he was stupid enough not to catch it and/or find it when it fell.
If you don't know what you're talking about you shouldn't act like you do.
You said, "If you are sued in any court-even TV court-you have to appear. You do NOT have to agree to be aired, but you do have to appear."
The people's court isn't a real court it's a tv show. They can't subpoena anyone. Both parties involved have to agree to drop any pending legal action in the real courts and settle their dispute on the show. If one party doesn't want to do the show then they just settle their dispute in the real court system.
As far as a the case with you and your ex, You are either lying to make a point, or your case was in district court and you have to go to court when subpoenaed by them.
In Minnesota if the claim is for less than $7,500 it is a small claims court case, and you won't be arrested if you fail to appear, however, a judgement will be made against you.
She threw it and it got lost? Ok, but still. She should have just given it to him. I'm sorry, I'm not defending the guy here but she sounds like a loon herself. In this article she talks about how he shouldn't have laid hands on her and then goes on to say he shouldn't have left her either. How about leaving him, giving the ring back (not by throwing) and dealing with him through family court?
Aggie= I didn't have much hope in you getting that either, so let's just hope you can at least clean the house a little sweety. Pizza hut will provide the rest.
I thought waterford was a trailer park? maybe my info is wrong...but if the comment was meant in a rude manner, then Who ate my soup should be slapped. I don't care who you are, no one deserves to be kidnapped/car-jacked/injured for any reason whatsoever. Yeah that's right- NO ONE! I hope they find her and bring her home safe for her kids and family.
You're joking right? And that's bad enough. If someone from your family was missing, would you be telling everyone to lighten up? No matter what this woman is like, NO ONE deserves to be missing from their family during the holidays or any other time. I have to admit that, though I wouldn't have thrown it at him, I would have handed the ring to the jerk and said, "Here. Supposedly, you bought it for me to show that you loved me and wanted to marry me, but since you were obviously insincere, you can have it back." But then, I didn't live with the guy, so maybe he had already exhausted all the patience and calmness she had.
What kind of crap story is this? Police, volunteers, dogs searching for this supposed car-jacked missing woman and the mother then states "I have a good idea where she is but can't just go kick the door down"????????? A family of morons getting there 15 minutes of fame.
If I was forced to listen to that screeching idiot Judge Milian,I'd disappear too....it's a wonder she rules on anything at all, she's too busy flappin' her gums, waving her hands, and yelling at people.Maybe if she shaddup for 2 seconds, she'd be more watchable.I tried watching the P.C. a couple times, then never tuned back in. Judge Milian has as much personality (imo) as a busted bag of cement.
My heart goes out to her Family and I hope they find her because her kids need her.. Saying that I also feel they are searching for her in the wrong area :( I believe the last text she sent to her brother was a clue. I believe that she was trying to tell them where to find her.. I hope the cops and her family start looking everywhere they can with the word waterford in it... remember God Never Gives Us more then We can handle......
I watched this episode of the Peoples Court featuring this couple. He was on his best behavior but there was something not quite right about him. I hope the police are looking seriously at him concerning her disappearance. And for the sake of their twins I hope nothing has happened to her.
A well to do girl freaking out over $2,500. A mom who wont visit the place she thinks she may be. Sounds like a drug problem to me. Suck it up mom, if you have to relocate, so be it.
what are you even talking about? who said she was "well to do"? she's a single mother of three - i would be definitely freaking out if i were in that position. what a stupid baseless comment to make.
Aggie - you do realize that some bartenders, depending on location, can pull down some good money in the form of tips, which seldom get taxed? Especially, a girl with her look, that I am sure would have used to her benefit. I mean come on, she was driving a hummer.
Several years ago, I received a phone call from my grown son who had been car jacked at gunpoint. While he was OK, I still remember not sleeping for weeks afterward. And I wanted to find the idiots who had done this to him. This is the stuff nightmares are made of.
As a mother of a grown daughter as well, I can only imagine what this mother is going through. I would be kicking down doors as well if I had the slightest hunch as to where my daughter was. BUT I don't know the whole story either and I am sending up prayers for this family.
Now that the kidnapper knows that she sent a text with a clue to her whereabouts, she probably isn't there anymore. It was dumb to let that information out.
I highly doubt there is a kidnapper. Her mom said she thinks she knows where she is, but can't go kick the door down. If she thinks she knows, then she needs to tell the police. If she doesn't, well then, imho, the daughter is either into drugs or she has deeper issues. Mom knows where she is. She is trying to make it look like something its not to get her daughter attention and they will ca$h in on the interviews. This smells staged to me.
I TOTALLY agree with you judy-3707434 !!That was a statement better left unsaid. BUT my prayers are with the family hoping EVERYTHING comes out for the best! When you are in a situation like that a person does not really stop and think about what they are saying at the time.
I actually watch these judge shows just to see how intellegent the judges are. From what I have seen, most time, they are wrong and they always judge from their lives perpectives instead of the actual law. Now here is a question for anyone that can answer it - in this day and age of paying bills using the internet therefore getting no paper receipts how can they expect ANY paper copies? We have become a paperless society so now what judges? And whatever happened to a "gentleman's handshake" like we used to have in the good old days? Oh yeah, judges and lawyers took that form of dealing away from us to in the name of creating MORE WORK and money for themselves. EVERYTHING that judges and lawyers do today and all the laws that they create is just to make MORE WORK AND MORE MONEY for them and WE never saw it coming. Most laws are NOT to protect the people, it is so that we need to HIRE lawyers and PAY the courts when someone breaks ANY of their laws.
Grey Mare-Although I agree with you, the judges don't really make the laws-the politicians we vote into office do. But you are absolutely right in saying that most of the judges on these shows do not base their rulings on true matter of fact law-it may play a small part, but it is mostly their own personal judgements and life experiences that make them decide one way or another. But I'm still not sure that was the point of the article...
You are both wrong. If the decisions are "legal" then they are backed by the State. If they are backed by the state, they are actual, legally binding decisions.
I believe Judge Judy is the most realistic. She does everything by the book and I agree with her decisions 95% of the time. As for receipts...you can print receipts when you pay online. You can also contact the company and request a copy of your payment history. In addition to that you can print your bank statement showing when money was withdrawn and to whom it was paid. Also, something about this story sounds very fishy to me.
The question wasn't whether the decisions the judges make were legally binding. The question was whether they are 100% based only on laws and not opinions.
If they are legally binding, explain how these decisions are not based on, in this case, California state law? If that were true, none of these decisions would be legally binding, and every one of them would be appealed and overturned.
Crystalinamp, you are busy telling everyone else to "educate yourself"....You apparently do not understand the meaning of those very words, as they pertain to you....
I never said the decisions weren't partially based on law. I said the law was applied according to the judge's personal opinion. And I can guarantee that I am more educated than the two people I told to go educate themselves-they do not show any kind of intelligence at all.
And there is no need to attack me. I was simply explaining the discussion and my take on it. i never attacked you. Maybe you backed yourself into a corner with your own arguement? Because I'm not telling you to educate yourself. I actually thought you made an intelligent point, and was only redirecting you to the actual point.
I love how men in our society can be abusive/violent alcoholics, serial killers, rapists, perpetrators of war and genocide, liers, swindlers (i.e., Madoff)...but a woman throws a ring and she's "irrational." Your gender needs to get over yourselves...you're actually more irrational than women, but you always believe it's justifiable irrationality. Male self-importance irritates me.
You also sound very bitter towards women. You must be angry because you can't get a women to even look at you...but no wonder, given a miserable personality like that!
GoldRibbon: I didn't see anything in Mark's comments that says anything about females being irrational (at least in these latest comments). The opinions he expressed pertained to the legality of the decisons made by TV judges. Regardless, to go from what he said to:
"Your gender needs to get over yourselves...you're actually more irrational than women, but you always believe it's justifiable irrationality. Male self-importance irritates me.
You also sound very bitter towards women. You must be angry because you can't get a women to even look at you...but no wonder, given a miserable personality like that!"???
Seems to me that that sort of proves the very point that you argue against!
I totally disagree with your comment that judges and attorneys make more work to make more money. . . .and as far as your "paperless society" comment, you can ALWAYS print a reciept for EVERYTHING that you purchase off the internet, besides that you recieve a shipping slip with payment info located on it!
These TV shows aren't real court, they're arbitration. Different rules apply, which is why the outcomes don't always come out the way they would in court.
averagewhitgirl...I think Judge Judy is very unprofessional. I have been in several courtrooms, work related, not personal, and I know some judges personally, and I have NEVER seen a Judge show such prejudice to one of the people involved in those small lawsuits. You can almost tel, right from the get go, just from how she speaks to each of them, which one she has a disdain for. Also, no true professional in any field would name call another adult like she does. "You're an IDIOT." "Is there something wrong with you?" "Are you stupid?" "Do you have a brain?" Some of her favorite comments to ADULTS. She is a poor representative of the Judicial bench. And it is really unprofessional to be asking her bailiff his opinion or if he agrees with her. Or looking to make him laugh at or about a claimant. Plus she asks questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the case. None of her business or anyone elses'.
you can still get copies of your receipts and confirmation numbers...all you have to do is hit "print" and it will come out on your printer.....or, when whatever you bought is delievered, you always get a shipping receipt in the package.....
I love it when women disagree with a man's point of view, the immediate reaction is to say (or write) that that man is obviously upset at women because he can't, "get any to look at you".
Hysterical. And they wonder why we think they are irrational (in general). Classic.
Ok, for all you women who are backing up your weak arguments by saying whatever male poster can't get a woman to look at them, post a picture of yourself and let us see if you are worth us looking at first! If these comments upset any of the guys, post a picture to prove these women wrong. Otherwise, stick to the story.
Good point Todd. I personally would not associate with these foul mouthed guys simply based on their behavior, but I will gladly update my profile to include my picture. This woman has nothing to hide.
I don't agree with the news or her family on giving out that info either and I think it was dumb as well, but I also don't think they have moved her either.. I'm from Florida and the story is big news around here but if the cops nor her family have put 2 and 2 together on that text being a clue then I really don't think the people or person that have her have either...
I am not from Orlando I am from Ocala but I believe u are right and there are also roads and business' with that name in them as well...
I am no cop but I think the text was a clue and if that was one of my 2 kids I would be kicking down doors of places I thought she might be... I think the family is not giving the whole story to the police or the public...
@crystalinamp, I live in Orlando and I'm not aware of a park called Waterford, but there could be. There are several RV, mobile, and manufactured homes communities in the City of Orlando, Orange County, and the Greater Orlando area as a whole (this includes Seminole and Osceola counties as well) But what's known as Waterford by most folk around here is a rather nice area in East Orlando. There's several subdivisions, apartment complex, and condos. Most of them are in what I'd venture to say the upper middle to high class range. It is highlighted by a huge shopping center called Waterford Lakes, and just a short drive to UCF. I'm just wondering how the trailer park reference in the threads came to be, for I didn't see anything in the news regarding that. She doesn't look like the typical trailer park type, and as a bartender she can make a very good living in this area. But I do agree that it feels like there's something not being told, at least not to the public anyway. I just hope that she can be found safe.
Thanks Frank. I just wasn't sure-I have a cousin that lived down there for a bit and I thought she had mentioned a Waterford trailer court at one point, but it was a while back, so I might be recalling incorrectly.
I agree that there is missing information, and that they probably shouldn't have released the text info out to the public. The trailer park comment came up because some people thought that a bartender with three kids must actually be a stripper/hooker and therefore must be trailer trash.
I personally think they are just crude little children.
Thanks again for the info-good to have my facts straight. :)
Hey, you're welcome. Yes, that's what I thought when I read those comments, you know, the stereotypes. I have no idea about what her personal life may be, but bartending in this area is the source of good income for many. Being a tourist town some may hold well paid hospitality jobs, I personally know some female bartenders making good money. Some people on these threads just enjoy bashing everyone, without knowing a thing about them.
“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.” - Anais Nin
This is a hoax! People needing their 15 minutes...if you know where your grown ass daughter is go get her....why even suspect if she has been car jacked but know where her vehicle is....this story makes no sense to be making national news...this is a BS stunt.
OH damn a gay joke!! That's funny. Wht don't you call me a @!$%# or something? be original at least. It's a shame you don't know how to reply to a person instead of just dropping insults halfway down a page.
While they may be judges, that doesn't give these "camera ho's" the right to judge(their personal opinions) anyone. They have twisted the very definition of the word, "judge". Their JOB is to apply the laws of this land to the cases they are hearing. It is for this reason that I refuse to watch these shows. I'm just not into watching someone be humiliated. I didn't see this show, but I don't need to. I can well understand this woman being humiliated and while she may have chosen to be on this show, that still doesn't excuse the behavior of the judge.
“He said he wanted his ring, so I took it off, and I threw it at him,’’ Parker said on the show. “You’re both like complete idiots, please stop,’’ said Milian
So, she apparently wants the ring (fighting it in court), but thorws it at him (not exactly rational behavior)...Later, in court, the judge feels compelled to tell both of them to stop acting like idiots.
But you go on and assert that it was the judge that embarassed her. Nope, she is just a victim, and has absolutly no culpability for her own actions.
It's a given that we are each responsible for our actions. My assertion is that the judges are not there to FEEL anything. Not their job. Their job is to apply the laws of this land to the cases before them. Any time a judge FEELS COMPELLED to ridicule those standing before them is indicative they have lost their objectivity and are now subjective.
There have been many-a-judge in the past that gave criminals the option to go to jail or go in the military. What part of Constitutional Law were they following when giving those choices? Judges do what they do best....They JUDGE people!
Did anyone else notice this statment by the mom :" I know she's been carjacked. But it's a mistake. they saw her driving a really expensive car, but doesn't really have money"
How did she get a "really expensive" car, if she really has "no money"?
A) she is one of these Occupy nuts that can't understand you can't buy more than you make
B) Stripper/Hooker
I rest my case.....bomp bomp bomp...bomp bomp- bomp bomp
And what case is that? I'm pretty sure the car was "nice-looking" not expensive. And she never said she didn't have any money, just that they "thought she had alot of money".
Where's you're sympathy? I hope that karma doesn't bite you in the ass and show you just how terrifying a situation like that can be first hand.
Just because a woman has three kids and no husband doesn't make her a whore. Go educate yourself.
A) the quote "People saw an expensive car and a girl who looks like she has money. I know they’ve made a mistake,"
What exactly does that statment mean? Well, she looks like she has money (cute, dressed well), and is driving around in an expensive car (but "that's a mistake")...so you tell me. Attractive, young woman, has 3 kids by different fathers, looks like she has money but doesn't, and is driving around in an expensive car....95%, that equals - Stripper or Hooker...take your pick
wishing bad karma on me will bring bad karma on you...if you beleive in that sort of thing...So have fun with that conundrum.....dictionary.com will help you figure out that word.
I know what a conundrum is. I don't need a dictionary. I'm not wishing you anything. That statement is about you judging this girl without knowing all the facts and posting trashy comments on here. Given that, it's safe to say at some point this will happen to you. What goes around, comes around.
Mark- I am an unmarried mother of three by two different fathers. I work 45 hours a week as a receptionist, pay for all child care costs myself, drive a decent looking not-too-old sedan, and dress presentably wherever I go.
I must be moonlighting as a stripper.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't recieve any child support or state assistance. My parents have helped me a bit(helping me buy the car) but I pay my own way and have never subjected myself to objectification by anyone.
Stop watching so much tv and meet some real people. Then maybe you wouldn't have such crude opinions of people.
Mark- I am an unmarried mother of three by two different fathers. I work 45 hours a week as a receptionist, pay for all child care costs myself, drive a decent looking not-too-old sedan, and dress presentably wherever I go.
So what? Congrats, you get a gold star for the day.
And I really don't give a crap about you, or your situation. But why do you think her situation is yours?
sgthardman, if that's the case, then why was soup's comment collapsed?
Those who have posted derogatory comments on here are speaking without full knowledge of what is really going on in this case.
Mark, that happens to be a saying...I'm simply passing it on, again the meaning where you are concerned is that if you have no empathy, then don't expect it from others, should something happen in your life. ALL of us have been through life challenges and most aren't going to tell all of the details for one reason or another. That happens to be our right.
I disagree, it is not the judge's job to admonish. It is their job to reinforce the laws of this land. Again, objective vs. subjective.
Mark-My situation isn't hers, but there are similarities. You saying that she must be a stripper or hooker because she has three kids by different fathers and isn't married, and because she has a nice vehicle, is ignorant and crass.
I'm not looking for congratulations. I don't need them. I only was trying to open your eyes so you could see how ridiculous your comment was.
You must know everything about everybody. Way to freaking go.
No Crystal, I do not know anything about anyone...So why would you assume her situation (3 kids, single mom, etc), is similar to yours at all?
I am well aware that there are all kinds of permutations as to "how" things could have gone in this case. Of course, ANYTHING, read that again, ANYTHING is possible. My summation is no more correct or incorrect than yours.
so every single mom of 3 kids has YOUR experience in life? Just because you have that in common does not make you any type of expert on single mothers. It makes you an expert on your failed marriage, and your kids. No more, no less.
I'm not the one claiming to be an expert. I'm not the one saying that because she's a single mother of three and drives a Hummer that she must be a stripper.
So you are the one being judgemental and claiming to be an expert.
There's more to the story then the article states, so you have no way of knowing if she is all the things you said.
I'm not saying I definitely know she isn't, but you can't publicly defame a human being just because she has three kids, isn't married, and works in a bar.
No, most people don't have my experience in life. And those that do, don't usually turn out like I did.
But I'm not pretending to be an expert. i'm simply asking you to be polite and quit being such a judgemental dolt.
crystalinamp: Being the son of a single mother with two brothers and two sisters (all of us had the same father) I feel I am qualified to ask this question. Why are you raising kids from different fathers without support from those fathers? Sounds like your judge of men isn't real good. And, without scrolling back through all this diatribe, weren't you one of the women telling guys on here they were jealous because they couldn't get a woman to look at them? Maybe the real issue is that some women, for instance those with multiple kids from multiple fathers, spend too much of their time getting guys to look at them!!! Just a thought. Man I hope this comment doesn't get me suspended again!
Nope. I would never assume to know someone without knowing them. Why would I accuse someone of being jealous that they can't have a woman when I, a woman myself, wouldn't take them based simply on their comments?
I do not spend any extra time trying to get men to look at me. I do not need them to pay attention to me to make myself feel good. I realize that I don't speak for all women when I say this, but I was actually in love with both the men I had children with. I married and am now divorced from one, and was engaged to the other. As far as my judgement of men-the first was a liar and a cheat, and it can be hard to tell that until you've lived with a person and have seen their daily behavior. The second has his own personal issues that need to be resolved before we can be in a functional relationship. He is working on those issues with the goal of us becoming a true family. These things are not readily visible in any person, especially those who have been conditioned to lie, or hide, or not address the issues at hand.
Maybe next time you should scroll through everything and really understand my point-no one should be making cruel and baseless accusations about people they know nothing of.
"Mark- many men do exactly the same thing. If a woman disagrees with them, then she's undoubtedly a femi-Nazi b**** who could never get a man...
What a hypocrite you are !! And you know it's true. Women's liberation was necessary because of Neanderthal chauvinists like you.
Thank goodness, not all men are like you.................."
And exactly to my point! I never stated anything about a "Nazi feminist bitch", yet because somebody has apparently said that to you, you assume I beleive the same...I Don't....but you are proving virtually every stereotype women are supposedly fighting...Hmmm, because I disagree I am, according to you:
A) a Neanderthal
B) a chauvinist pig
C) according to you I am apparently like "most men" (isn't that a stereotype too?)
So guys, see what you get, if you simply disagree with a woman!!! FYI - raised by a single mom....and she taught me to think for myself.
this is the prime reason women should never be in positions of political power, and make horrible bosses....They are incapable of taking any criticism, but are more than happy to criticize others.
You should spontansouly combust right about.........now! Effin idiot!! You, Mark, and who da eff ate my shoe....
Now to speak more civilized...This story does sound suspicious. At the end of day, it really doesn't matter because a young mother of three is missing. Who cares if it was drugs, foul play, car jacking, or whatever. It is obvious she is gone and against her will. Pray for her family that she is brought home safely. Her children need her. No love can replace a mother's love. There may be a substitution but nothing like the real thing! God forbid if its a ruse (which I do not think so because she seems very humble) but this world is sinking everyday with all the violence and hatred that is consuming it.
The only thing obvious is that your idiot! :) Geez I feel sorry for you mother. She has a headache right now thinking about the trash she has raised (and I am certain it was not her fault. You just chose to stray the wrong the way because no woman raises a man to call women a stripper or hooker when they're really a bartender a$$ wipe). And if I could call OPD, I would because they seem as inept as you are!
your mother obviously didn't raise you right either...Pot, meet kettle...Do you kiss your mom with that mouth?
I love it when retards post stuff to make themselves feel superior, and don't even realize they just did the same thing they are ripping someone else for. Ignorance is bliss...You must be one blissful individual.
Haha! You hit the nail on the head on that one!! My mother didn't raise me, but a good man like my father did. Never have I heard such dispicable words come from HIS mouth about women so of course I will call it as I see it. I feel superior??? Boy, (because your obviously not a man) I hold a bachelor's degree not a doctoral. Still, my income barely gets me by as a single mother. I never feel superior than the next person, but I will tell someone if they are wrong and you are shameful as a male. I'm through arguing with someone hiding behind keystrokes and brightly lit computer screens to say what they dare not say in public because they would be sucking soup through a straw if they ran across the right individual :) And always..."Thank you for typing B.S on MSN...Goodbye!"
Well, evil things happen every day, 24/7 to all kinds of people, but I'll suggest a swap, trade with the possible evil doers and is why don't you choose Newt Gingrich instead and in this way, you kill two birds with one stone. His corporate sponsors won't have to pay him millions and he is in a better shape to pay lots of greens, even if doesn't care asbout the environment. We have too many snake oil peddlers, so one more or less won't be miss. And if they or he/or she want more, there are a lot more from where that one came from. Let her go and take Gingrich instead.
It's so funny to read that people think that GOD gives them the struggles of life. Free will...we all have it. Choice...we all have it. Trials and tribulations...we all have them. Common sense to know the difference between faith and sentiment....obviously we ALL do not possess that.
This girl has something that she is hiding...and so does her mother. The 15 minutes of "fame" thing could really be a runaway train. I doubt her mother would openly admit that she might know where she is when the cops are in a full fledged investigation. But hey....who really knows anymore???
God never gives us more than we can handle - stay strong
NO mythical, make-believe "god" had anything to do with it. And there's no Santa Claus either. Grow up.
rim-how about you open your mind? just because you don't believe in the obvious evidence around you doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Oh, and by the way...Santa Claus did exist. He was a real person.
Maybe you should grow up and take a real history lesson.
Somethings definitely fishy about this story.
And going off topic, who sues over an engagement ring? That's pretty low.
And hopes that whatever experience she has been through helps turn her life around for the better.
rlm:
I really do with all of my heart she is ok but I cant help to think how stupid this is.
I really hope they find this lady.
Shocking and in Orlando.... I hope she comes home soon... sigh
Tell that to the 15 million children that die of hunger every year. What a stupid sentiment.
I don't believe that at all...it's something people say to try to make everything seem ok...meanwhile, a person commits suicide every 40 seconds....plenty of people cannot handle what God dishes....
I'm with you future. I think I personally have been given all I can handle and yet...IT keeps coming. Stop already!!!!
Would that be a crackhouse? Brothel?
What is up with the mom?
Be kind people.
She's down in Aruba at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. It's a great place to run and hide!
LOL - except for the 15 million+/- that die every year. Just because the human race survives, doesn't mean that enormous groups of humans don't suffer a miserable death by starvation! If YOU (Ryan) were born to a poor family in a starving nation, you would not be spewing such gibberish.
Most human suffering is a direct result of other human beings. Either directly or indirectly. God has nothing to do with it.
Future History -
The CAPACITY to handle things is not the same as handling things.
Are you implying that it takes religious faith to have capacity to handle things? I think you are - and that is truly sad, that without faith you would be unable to cope with life and be a good citizen. I have been able to do so without faith for my entire life.
Talk about off-topic. Assume much?
Who said I was hurt? Being offended is hardly the same thing as being hurt - and the notion that nonbelievers are incapable of rejecting "sin" is completely offensive.
What kind of ogre would not want for this? Why would you even have a doubt about this?
Hope, whether it be through faith or otherwise, does nothing to bring about positive results. The problem with religious folks is that they think their faith actually is doing something to bring about positive results. When it doesn't happen, they invariably fall back on the "god works in mysterious ways" excuse. When something good does surface, they lay claim to it as a function of faith. It's pathetic.
Actually, yes. That is a huge part of who I am, and I am not the least bit afraid to engage anyone on why I am a nonbeliever.
We also see a lot of pro-religious comments. It's an open forum - apparently you would like to close it up to meet your personal tastes. Ain't gonna happen.
Sounds like they should be looking in the trailer park for this woman.
Trashy comment...
How insensitive . I'm embarassed by you!!! No wonder you don't know who ate your soup!!!!!!
Not sure of your intentions with this comment, but it comes across as rude and crass. If that's not what you meant, I'd be more clear next time you comment-just saying...
What a hell of a thing to say. You must see a lot of women like your describing in your trailer park..
She's a bartender fighting over an engagement ring with her baby daddy. That tells me most of what I need to know about her.
And that comment tells all we need to know about you. You're an ignorant, self-righteous a-hole who thinks that they know everything about everybody. Crawl back under your rock.
Bearmer- That's rich, thanks for playing.
When you live in springerville you got to deal with the comments of the whole trailer park
So what if she were from a trailer park? She is no less of a person than anyone else.
She should probably send the police to check it out.
she might know where her daughter is but won't go there? seems a little fishy to me...
so.... if she is dead wouldnt you want to know? tell the police, its their job anyway. alo something doesnt add up here, a bar tender, single mother of 3, fighting over 2500.00 and drives a hummer......
Yeah, yeah you are not supposed to take the law into your own hands but all reason goes out the window when it's your own kin.
who ate my soup; I'd like to spit in your soup. There is zero reason to debase this woman.
I don't know what happened to her, but for the sake of her children I hope she returns.
A personal attack at me because of my opinion?? very nice, you would spit in my soup because I don't think much of the woman in this story. Classic.
Well at least you didn't say anything about God, then they would have really jumped you!!
True dat
Sounds fishy to me as well. I wonder if she "staged" this herself. The ex is not a suspect, and it just leads to so many questions.... we'll see how this turns out. My money is on she magically appears with a heck of a story
As she drove in her "Humvee"! That tells me tons of what is going on here!
what do you mean??? do you think it was drug related?? stripper related?
Utter: I totally agree with you, let's not judge until we know the entire story.
Dominic-2029336, I couldn't agree with you more with what who ate my soup said. How insensitive and degrading can you be? I just hope and pray that they find her alive and well and to reunited with her family. Prayers are with her whole family, especially her children.
did you read the story? she isn't some Innocent victim, she's embarrassed that she looked like a piece of trailer crap on TV.
who ate my soup...
If you are subpeonaed, they can.
Who ate my soup:
No marry, no ringy. lol
Suzee- I'm certain for $20 she'd pay me all the attention I would want.
They cannot subpoena you to appear on tv in court. She had to have agreed to appear.
crystal In a small claims case you CANNOT be forced to go to court. If you don't go the judgement will be against you but again you cannot be forced to go to small claims court and there is no jail time for not going.
CRI investigator I truly hope you aren't one because otherwise you would know small claims isn't like District or Superior Court where you DO have to go if subpoenaed.
Sparklystar you are right.
who ate my soup....come on....be real.....it would cost you at LEAST 30.00. lol.
Actually you can go to jail for not appearing in small claims court. I depends on the amount and the offense, but it can happen.
crystal..no....that would be called debtors prison, we don't have one of those in the US.
What ate my soup.... I think YOU are one who should be embarrassed!
Aggie- I sure hope you can cook.
crystal...you specifically said "it depends on the amount"..the amount owed does not send you to jail. However, contempt of court by not appearing can.
btw...what state are you in? I have never heard of being sent to jail for not appearing to small claims court.
It makes no difference in this case. You can't be forced to come on a court TV show. She could have easily said no and dealt with this in a real small claims court. But she went on TV and that was her choice she certainly wasn't forced.
So much for the " she's a victim of a man" defense.
Conflict of interests.
There's your answer.
Crystalinamp,
If you don't know what you're talking about you shouldn't act like you do.
@Who ate my soup...."I sure hope you can cook."
What? Makes no sense. But, I just consider the source...
I don't think who ate my soup is intelligent enough to put waterford and a trailer park together. I'm pretty sure he has soup for brains.
probably. some people's kids, huh?
were is everyones sence of Humor,It might be a sad artical but Jeez lightn up on the SOUP man
You're joking right?
You got it!!.Bingo!! Ha ha ha
"their" not "there". Proof-reading is always preferable to relying on spell-check.
Hope they find the missing woman.
They were not forced to go on that show.
And Who ate my soup, you're a nasty little troll.
We assume "well-to-do" because she is driving a friggin' Hummer. Did you miss that part?
She works as a bartender. Did you miss that part?
Aggie - you do realize that some bartenders, depending on location, can pull down some good money in the form of tips, which seldom get taxed? Especially, a girl with her look, that I am sure would have used to her benefit. I mean come on, she was driving a hummer.
Doubt she paid cash for it. Maybe it's leased. Loads of people have champaign taste on a beer budget.
There isn't a door out there that I wouldn't kick down to get my child no matter how old they are and how old I am.
I agree!!
I couldn't agree with you more!
Sorry for being polite...
Mark---
I love how men in our society can be abusive/violent alcoholics, serial killers, rapists, perpetrators of war and genocide, liers, swindlers (i.e., Madoff)...but a woman throws a ring and she's "irrational." Your gender needs to get over yourselves...you're actually more irrational than women, but you always believe it's justifiable irrationality.
Classic.
Men do the same thing when women disagree with them.
I just hope they find her alive...............
I just have to ask, since you are a local-am I right in thinking that there is a Waterford trailer park near Orlando?
And they definitely shouldn't give info out unless they've thoroughly investigated it first. Never show your hand.
Agreed. I just wanted to make sure I had my facts straight. Thanks!
facts are straight from what I know from the news.... Welcome
@crystalinamp
Yep. Then they threaten to bend over a girl simply because they say "Don't judge" and degrade her sister as well.
Immature and crude. Grateful that I was blessed with a mind capable of rational thinking so I don't have to stoop to that level.
Thanks for joining me in the ranks of civilized society. :)
She's pretty hot. I would hide her out for awhile.
B from E: SO WRONG, funny but wrong, you are going to catch H#$$ over that one.
This is a hoax! People needing their 15 minutes...if you know where your grown ass daughter is go get her....why even suspect if she has been car jacked but know where her vehicle is....this story makes no sense to be making national news...this is a BS stunt.
I totally agree. Mom is helping her by making this fake-a$$ story up and calling it a car-jack/kidnap. I hope they go to jail for this hoax.
it seems very odd who knows it may be a hoax we will all know soon
Double Entendre....You are absolutely right. What's wrong with this picture?
Bring 'em back, dead or alive, to the trailer park.
Rude. Mind your manners, T. Bill.
no one has any humor, its amazing to me that it hasn't gotten political yet
maybe thats couse this is not a joking matter duh
Who Ate My Soup: you're an idiot!
your favorite soup is probably Cream of Sum Yung Guy
The judge did not embarass her. She embarassed herself
And she did this HOW?? She certainly didn't call herself stupid.
Any time a judge FEELS COMPELLED to ridicule those standing before them is indicative they have lost their objectivity and are now subjective.
you are obviously not familiar with the US court system. Judges always compelled to admonish people. Virtually every one of them.
She did not say admonish.
She said ridicule.
Two completely different things.
"Just because a woman has three kids and no husband doesn't make her a whore. Go educate yourself."
But it is a damned good start, don't you think?
Mark, just like so many of us, you don't know the whole story.
What we see on the surface is usually only just that, the surface. GROW UP.
AGAIN, I will say to you:
If you think I'm a bitch, wait until you meet KARMA.
wishing bad karma on me will bring bad karma on you...if you beleive in that sort of thing...So have fun with that conundrum.....dictionary.com will help you figure out that word.
Really, explain your comment "If you think I'm a bitch, wait until you meet KARMA".
You have an interesting, and self-absolving way of making statements you later disclaim.
Most of the comments support Mark and the SOUP man in some form or another so why do some get so nasty about their retaliations
sgthardman, if that's the case, then why was soup's comment collapsed?
Those who have posted derogatory comments on here are speaking without full knowledge of what is really going on in this case.
Mark, that happens to be a saying...I'm simply passing it on, again the meaning where you are concerned is that if you have no empathy, then don't expect it from others, should something happen in your life. ALL of us have been through life challenges and most aren't going to tell all of the details for one reason or another. That happens to be our right.
I disagree, it is not the judge's job to admonish. It is their job to reinforce the laws of this land. Again, objective vs. subjective.
This really isn't that hard to understand...
Way to freaking go.
wow you seem like a real losser are you just mad that the only woman you could get would be a hooker
Mark,
And speaking of hummers..........
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
This whole story has an odor to it.
Let's see-because I'm a single mom with three kids???
Oh no, not anything similar there...
so every single mom of 3 kids has YOUR experience in life? Just because you have that in common does not make you any type of expert on single mothers. It makes you an expert on your failed marriage, and your kids. No more, no less.
"wow you seem like a real losser are you just mad that the only woman you could get would be a hooker"
Why do women always state things like this when they disagree with a man? it goes to every point I've made in regards to Women v Rational thinking...
Mark- many men do exactly the same thing. If a woman disagrees with them, then she's undoubtedly a femi-Nazi b**** who could never get a man...
What a hypocrite you are !! And you know it's true. Women's liberation was necessary because of Neanderthal chauvinists like you.
Thank goodness, not all men are like you..................
crystalinamp: Being the son of a single mother with two brothers and two sisters (all of us had the same father) I feel I am qualified to ask this question.
You included.
I bet she was Hell between the sheets. She looks like a combo: moaner, screamer, squealer.
Grow up.
Enough said.
Hey KTE has it all figured out. You should call the cops and tell them you have it all figured out, since it is soooooo obvious to you....
rlm7950 you are sick and your comment should be closed.
Wrong person but really the both of you have loose screws!!!!
your mother obviously didn't raise you right either...Pot, meet kettle...Do you kiss your mom with that mouth?
