I have enjoyed many a book handled by this publishing house. Thank you for bringing so many of us, so much enjoyment. And helping to enrich so many lives. Not just all the readers who have enjoyed your many, many books, but all the authors who you have supported and whos careers you helped foster. The world is a better place because of it. Literature is an endless world of enjoyment and learning, for all of us. Thank you for helping it grow. RIP

Enjoyed working for him--He was an epitome of Civility,Grace and Dignity -- endowed with a Royal Mien!! Was a great asset to the Doubleday Publishing House and played a major part in its growth and diversification in the Sixties and Seventies into other media like Broadcasting.

Certainly a life well lived. Born into privledge, this gentleman had access to a world few of us ever see. With his talent and contacts, Doubleday Publishing became a powerhouse ad enriched the entire world. I never knew him, but, was was touched by his achievements and genius. My condolences to friends and family. RIP.
